How good is this Anthony Bennett kid? Haven't watched any highlights on him but they list him at 6-7, 230 lbs. I immediately thought "Ryan Gomes" when I saw those measureables but someone told me he is a freakish athlete. Needless to say, I was somewhat suprised when I heard this.

Doesn't seem like Calipari is getting distracted by him and his list is too long and Cal is going all out at Shabaz Mohamed.
But imagine the possibility:
PG-Rocket Ryan Harrow
SG-Archie Goodwin
SF-Shabazz Mohamed/Alex Polythress/Devante Pollard
PF-Anthony Bennet/Jarnell Stokes

"freakish" is starting to be the standard preface to "athletic" nowdays. He has Larry Johnson skills with Jamal Mashburn awareness. At 230LBS, he looks a plays like a musclular 250LB'er.

Don't forget about "The Waterfountain", Mr. Kyle Wiltjer. He will likely be back next season. I also wouldn't put it past Kidd-Gilchrist to come back. Maybe even Davis. Teague I think is gone regardless of anything.

But . . . MKG said he has dreamed for playing for Calipari since he was 11-12 yrs old and he kept saying it so early that other schools gave up recruiting him when he was 14or15, cause his mother would tell them "Don't waste your time, he's going to Memphis". You wouldn't have 1&done as your goal if you felt that way about your Coach nearly 1/2 of your respective life, and he's a smart student. I truly think he wants to be the best that he can be going into the NBA. He still may go though.
Davis is trickier. School is not a problem, he's was like a 3.8GPA HS student, so the rigors of school is not a problem, turning down 20 million would be.
Terrence Jones-who knows, mystery since the day he signed, he seems to be a tad immature. Kinda like he likes being where he's comfortable, wants friends around him and is terrified of failure.
Teague is going no matter what. The only reason he spurned UL late is that he saw UK as the faster route to the NBA, and rightfully so
Funny thing is in '09 John Wall was the one who wanted to come back and Calipari said "Are you Crazy!" Imagine John Wall as a Soph guard!Comment

That is the one of the main reasons these kids go play for Cal. Because they know if they are high to mid first round draft picks Cal urges them to go.
You really believe John Wall was going to stay for more than one year? If that's the case, I've got some oceanfront property on Arizona to sale you."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Still be shocked if it's UK, with their prospective class, he would likely not start, but who knowsComment

Matt Jones will literally say everything in hopes that something comes out true. Great site for fun and updates but not even close to reality with regards to recruiting...90% of the time.#WeAreUKComment

Well, I guess another scholarship opened up at UK. Soph Stacey Poole has elected to transfer from UK. No destination announced yet, but my guess, Florida or FSU, maybe even Miama or Florida International, but surely a Fla schoolComment

I'll post it in here since he was ruled academically ineligible for 2011, but Norvel Pelle decommits from St. John's. He will open up his recruitment again.Comment

Boy, after last nights UK and Duke wins, parred with UCLA's 2nd straight home humiliation. You get the feeling their losing Shabaz one game at a time. From his tweets, I'd say UK is the leader and Duke is now way in the chase.Comment
