It could be just in case there is something wrong with Mudiay's (who is a UK lean) eligibility.

I think SMU has a decent shot at Mudiay. Obviously Kentucky is the front runner but I wouldn't be totally surprised if he went somewhere else.

It says hes from Prime Prep and it says Arlington, TX which is my hometown. I didnt think Prime Prep was in Arlington.

Apparently Baylors 247 site is already reporting Mudiay to SMU. Been hearing some rumblings recently. Dont know what to think of it though. Still a long ways away.

Oh wow. That's weird he's announcing so early. He has his visit to Kentucky in Oct.

It is, he hasn't visited any school "officially" yet though, but I'm sure he has been at each school multiple times.
I will be mighty surprised if he doesn't go to KU or UK. If he doesn't though it seems like SMU would be the choice.
All I know is that Larry Brown is getting some serious talent to consider him. Got AA Keith Frazier last year, SMU was in the Harrison twins final 3 and now Mudiay.

From what I have seen it looks like it will actually be either Kentucky or SMU. SMU gaining ground and him making an early decision does make it seem like he might be going to SMU, but what do I know.

Word circulating on Emmanuel Mudiay is that it'll either be UK or SMU. Mudiay announcing tomorrow night on ESPNU. In mix for No. 1 spot.

Most of the recruiting analyst think he is going to pick SMU and it sure as heck looks like that way.

As much as I'd like to see the SMU program do well, Mudiay not going to UK scares the hell out of me as a fan of a team who is recruiting Jones and Okafor.

Josh Perkins is deciding tomorrow, it's between Gonzaga, UCLA, and Minnesota. He'll probably pick Gonzaga.

Looks like Mudiay to SMU. Big big get for Brown. Wonder if Cal will go all in on Jones and if he did, would it matter at this point.
