Definitely puts to rest some of the recruiting concerns. If we can land Robinson then this is suddenly a great class.

Well nevermind then, UConn out on Robinson.

Still, solid class imo. We did miss on a lot of guys, and to some schools we don't usually lose too, but it also seemed like we casted a wider net than in the past.

James Blackmon Jr. "officially" down to Kentucky and Michigan.

              Not feeling optimistic. Meh.

Since his decision is after Big Blue Madness, I like Kentucky's chances. I wonder whether his decision will impact where Booker goes though. I think both Michigan and Kentucky have legit shots of getting both guys.

FWIW, I hear both to UK but you never know with recruiting and I have learned to take all info with a grain of salt regardless of the source.

What happened is UNLV hired his coach to be one of their assistants. Talking about Goodluck by the way.

It's interesting because Cal has already offered 3/4 guards in next years class (Newman, Matthews, Kennard and Jones), and I don't think either Blackmon or Booker are one and done players.

Blackmon is not for sure. Seen him many times he is no where near ready for the NBA. I doubt he will ever play in the NBA.

Kevon Looney is announcing on Halloween. Duke, Tennessee, and Sparty are the frontrunners. I'm less confident than I was a few months ago.

He must have had a good summer because he jumped quite a bit in the Rivals, ESPN and 247 rankings. I have no idea about his NBA future right now but from what I have read Cal wants him to play PG as well at UK so that would have to help his NBA stock in the future I would think.

I think he picks Tennessee personally, but if it matters at all, he is still 100% Duke in the crystal ball: http://247sports.com/Player/Kevon-Looney-15259

His only position is pg, he is too small to play anywhere else.

Well then if I'm a coach I'm promising him that he'll grow 2 inches guaranteed if he comes to play for me.
