Hoping he ends up at UNC, would be a hell of a class with Justin Jackson and Joel Berry. He said after his last visit he was very close to committing to UNC but his parents wanted him to take his time and make sure its what he wants. Can't fault them for that. Joel Berry and Justin jackson were doing really good in the EYBL games. Jackson averaging 17 pts and shooting 54% from 3.

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
I thought IU had a really good shot at pulling Pinson out of North Carolina as Crean made Pinson a top priority, but you can't blame a kid for choosing to stay close to home and play at UNC. I'm happy though that Pinson made his decision now instead of dragging things out until the fall, so Crean and the staff can prioritize the other recruits they are after now.Comment

Glad to add Theo Pinson to the 2014 class, was really surprised he committed to UNC. Now pick up another and that will be lovely-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Justise Winslow will be making an unofficial visit to Duke this weekend during the K Academy. A lot of people think Duke and Arizona are the front-runners.Comment

Okafor
Allen
Looney
Winslow
Would be ridiculous. I'm afraid we'll lose out on the first two but those in the know are optimistic, and I guess we have a solid chance at Looney also, who would be another stretch 4 in the mold of Kelly and Jabari.Comment

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
Okafor released his final 8 today too, Duke, Arizona, Kentucky, Baylor, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan State, and Ohio State.
Jones/Okafor each have Duke, Kentucky, Baylor, Michigan State, Kansas and Ohio State in their top 8.
Add in Winslow who wants to be a part of that "package" and only Duke, Kansas, Baylor and Ohio State have offered all 3.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

I've read that Parker is not a surefire one-and-doner. Not sure how true this is, but could you imagine a 1-2-3 punch of Parker, Jones and Okafor?"He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Tyus was on local radio this morning. That kid has been to handling school. Very well spoken and said all the right things. Seems to be a bright and down to earth kid.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey
