At least it was Louisville we lost to and not some easy to hate team. I hope they take the whole thing.

Really impressive performances by Michigan and Louisville today. I should be a good Final Four.
Of course, I'm rooting for Wichita State to win it all.Comment

This. It boggles my mind that there isn't a set of referees in the country that has the balls to actually call them for their fouls. They literally foul at least 4 or 5 times every defensive possession, and that's not even counting the fact that they all just grab the other team once a shot goes up so that they can't extend their arms to grab rebounds.Comment

That + poor shooting + refusing to make defensive changes + Louisville having ridiculously quick guards = blowoutComment

Re: The Official 2013 "Running Commentary of Every Single Game" Thread
I've noticed that whenever teams press (whether it be for the full game like VCU or Louisville or just when teams are down), referees are way, way more inclined to swallow their whistles and allow physical play. This allows for a lot of comebacks IMO.
On one hand I really enjoy the teams that do press the whole game (ie. the Louisvilles and the VCUs of the world), but it is pretty evident that teams get flustered playing them because there is a lot of excess physicality.Comment

I'm really liking the lack of Kansas-style teams in the rest of the tournament. Match-ups with Louisville and Syracuse are more favorable for Michigan (although Wichita State doesn't seem to want to go away).NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)
NHL: Detroit Red Wings (26-20-12)
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers (FB: 1-11, BB: 15-12), Michigan Wolverines (FB: 7-6, BB: 19-7, H: 15-10-3)Comment

Nice pic for sure...I thought at that moment when it happened would decide the game for the Cards...either they would be down and not play as hard very distracted or it would hype and motivate them like crazy. Glad they were able to pull it out and nice coaching to Pitino to get his guys back on track.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment
