The Arizona outlets seem to think not. Nassir Little may have committed but it wasn't public.

EDIT: Nevermind, I misunderstood what you were quoting.

Little = the one that was tied to both Miami and Arizona (Player-12)

Quinerly = the one that committed a few days before 8/11 (Player-5). He committed on August 8th.

Yeah I gotcha, I just misunderstood what you responded to at first.

I'm also saying someone that is signed to play this year, or so they seem to think. Richardson was primary recruiter for Rawle Alkins, Alonzo Trier. Just speculation...

AAU is going to be a helluva lot different after this. That much I do believe.

Re: The Official "FBI Investigation" Thread

After his near-deadly motorcycle accident, current ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Williams worked as a recruiter for Ceruzzi Sports and Entertainment from 2007 to 2009. He's seen the corrupt culture of college basketball firsthan

Jason Williams confirming the sports agency he used to work gave $250K to Kevin Love's AAU coach in order to persuade him to eventually join their agency.

There were a lot of dealings that were being made that people didn’t know about. There was a lot of money being exchanged. I know for a fact — there was a reported story from Yahoo! Sports back in 2009 — I know that we gave an AAU coach for a guy named Kevin Love who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. We gave him over $250,000. Now, at the time, we were also giving other players money because you were allowed to give players money through their AAU programs.

Might not be anything, but havent seen it mentioned that Alabama is also involved (no surprise there). Sexton is the rumored recruit. Maybe they should take a look at their football program while they're at it.

Louisville rumored to announce David Padgett as the interim head coach today.

                  I like this move.

Interim AD to be announce next week.

Not gonna matter who they hire. Their program surely will receive the death penalty...I mean, if what they've done doesn't qualify then what would?

I don't believe they are going to receive the death penalty.

I was listening to some college basketball "experts" on a talk show today.
They said they are hearing/guessing that they are going to get 8-10 years of probation.

On the one hand, you don't want to punish the entire Louisville community (fans/alums/athletes/other programs) too harshly for the misdeeds of probably just a handful of crooks in the revenue-generating programs. But on the other hand, the punishment needs to be severe enough that schools seriously and soberly reconsider associating themselves with win-at-any-cost coaches that have a lot of baggage (the Pitino's and Petrino's of the world etc).

With UNC's adademic issues, I sincerely hope Roy Williams is out of the fed's investigation.

Not just because it's Louisville but I don't pay attention to the "experts" and their thoughts on matters such as this.

UofL is going to be punished and it's more than likely going to extend to postseason ban(s), but to what extent remains to be seen.

In his first comments since being put on unpaid leave Wednesday, suspended Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino told the Courier-Journal he is selling his house and "laying low" in the wake of the corruption scandal that has rocked college basketball.
