Well, as a CAP creator, and someone who has messed around variety of creation hubs, I believe this make-shift idea is the best solution for now. They may have to scan a woman, but I'm near sure there's women in the office, so mo-capping will not be a problem.

I think it's fine though without it, I just believe you're not seeing the vision in my head, remember, Gameface is an option here, so a women's face will not be difficult, all they would truly need is better hair styles (like a more real ponytail, long hair, braids, etc.) and body sliders that don't adjust themselves in modifications like WWE 2K.

Well like I said, if it was up to me, I would want it done well or not done at all. You would easily be able to tell it was the the same voice even if you change all those things. It would just feel cheap to me. Especially when you describe it as makeshift.
I'm not sure that game face is the best idea. To me, 2k would have to use the face scan to keep the graphics on par the rest of the game. You can easily tell which players have and haven't been scanned so I think if you don't face scan the women they would end up sticking out.
The way your describing this as makeshift makes it sound like a PC mod or something. If 2k were to add women I doubt they would halfass it like that.

I would also prefer a female voice character over the garbage that they had for the male voice.

A female would likely sound less ridiculous.

Why put effort into something that not only makes no sense, but many people wouldn't bother using? If I were them, I wouldn't put much effort at all into it

Either do it well or don't do it all. My vote would be to not do it all. If you did it without any effort, it would just upset the people who do use it. As of right now, there isn't enough support to add this to the game.

It's only described as makeshift cause I thought of it on the spot. It's not truly adding women, it's more of giving players the tools to be able to create anything, if they wanted to create a player with a long neck and tiny head shape, this idea would be good, and that wouldn't make women from being created.

These body sliders in my head go very deep in detail.

I can totally see this beeing implemented in the future, you will be able to buy make up and dresses. Hurray. I can already picture ronnie2K overhyping this crap over the summer with codes and stuff.

Are there really that many girls that play 2k? I mean I know there are a lot more girl gamers lately than there ever have been, but I don't think that's true of the sports gaming genre. I'm not opposed to the idea of having female character models brought in, but of the demand isn't there, 2k could use their resources more wisely.

I think it depends on demographics. if 40% of the people purchasing the game were female than I'd be all for including the option to create one in 2K. However I don't believe that is the case.

Well, I gave my opinion on the topic. I wouldn't add females. I gave my reasoning. I've never liked the idea of women playing in the NBA.
If you disagree that's fine, I don't expect people to agree with my personal opinions. I just don't see how going from talking about women in nba2k, to talking about women in the nba is an irrelevant topic. But ok.
To be clear, I don't hate the idea of adding women, 2k just has more important things to work on than this.

The only reason I wouldn't want women is because it's an NBA game. It'd be fine for blacktop but I've never liked the idea of women playing in the NBA.

These are just personal beliefs. None of them have been shown to be arrived at by a process of reasoning. Just to be clear, this is a fantasy mode, and you wouldn't be facing a female player in a MyCareer game. The only time there would be a female player on the court, is if the player chose a female MyPlayer.

I'm very aware that women aren't banned but has a women ever played in the NBA? Lol I couldn't care less what someone wants do with their character I've just never liked the idea of women playing in the NBA. That's all I'm saying.
I also really doubt it's gonna happen in 2k anytime soon. May happen at some point but I wouldn't hold my breath.
