Re: My Career Method to Being Traded to Your Favorite Team

so far this hasnt worked for me. i had my gm relationship at 100% and my teammate chemistry around 95%. got the sidekick scene and declined. told the gm i didnt get along with eric bledsoe and to trade him which dropped my gm relationship down to 1%. ive played about 10 games since then and i just got another gm meeting that didnt have the option to say i dont get along with a teammate again.

so pretty much my gm completely ignored me. this is driving me nuts. i hate the suns. im trying to get on the cavs where i realistically should have been drafted anyway but i dont want to ask for a trade because that always seems to backfire from what ive read.

You're not supposed to get that option again anyway.

      10. The whole process takes about 5 games. Just keep playing normally and you'll get another GM conversation soon. Dont ask for a trade, just tell your GM youre doing great. This should be 5 games after you asked him to trade your star teammate.

Re: My Career Method to Being Traded to Your Favorite Team

I just stumbled upon this method and it finally worked for me in my 3rd year lol. In the previous 2 seasons, I was just asking for traded and getting traded to random teams (even though I kept saying I wanted to go to the Rockets).

Well, in the very first week of my 3rd season I finally did the "I don't get along with XXXX player" and then I had the meeting with the agent about being in trade rumors. He showed me the list of teams interested in me and Dallas was #1 and the Rockets were like #8... things weren't looking good.

Then, I met with the GM and boom... he traded me to the Rockets

I think it went by what I told my agent in the verrrrrrrry beginning of year 1 about who my favorite team was. (I said Rockets, obviously)

finally got the trade i was hoping for. it took like 10 games after i said i wanted bledsoe gone but i am now the starting sf for the cavs

and now im playing through a stupid storyline about me eating alone in my car and isolating myself from the team lol. apparently i messed up the press conference question about when i said i would never isolate myself from my teammates.

Re: My Career Method to Being Traded to Your Favorite Team

I just created another my career with a pg and I picked the Lakers as my favorite team. One question I have though is about the cut scene where one of the players ask you to go out with him to celebrate your performance. Should you say no or yes because I know if you say no it might affect your team chemistry but if you say yes your GM gets pissed. What is the best choice? I dont want to choose the wrong option and messed up the method.

Go out with your teammates. Its not a big deal. The GM doesnt really get pissed. You just get a small spike in relationship with him but its no big deal

Re: My Career Method to Being Traded to Your Favorite Team

So my Quest to get traded to my Hometown Thunder has yet again failed.

6th Play through, and now for the 3rd time I am sent to the Timberwolves.

I am following the OP letter for letter. No matter what I do OKC is always way at the bottom of the list. I am really lost at why I can not get this to work?

I tried to embrace playing for another team, I just can't get with it I want to roll with my Home team.

                    What else can I try?
                    BOOMER..Sooner!

I have been trying this and here is what I got...

6'4" 205lbs athletic SG - drafted 6th to Pelicans. Trying for Chicago.
Settings: hall of fame(all-star or pro on frustration times lol),simulation 10 mins
                      Avg teammate grade: B+
                      Overall rating: 81

On jan 7th we played the heat for the first time. Right before the bulls were next to last in favoritism and the gm said you will start in a few games. So I decided I wanted to cheese and I put on rookie and dominated d wades ***. After the tunnel talk, I checked and the bulls were right at the top of the list. I played two more rookie games and I am now going to start jab 11 against mavericks. Bulls are still in front on the list by a half a inch. Should I continue the exploit or ask for trade ASAP keeping it on rookie. It might be the lower the setting the easier cause they shot up as soon as I changed it.

i would say keep going with the exploit. when you ask to get traded theres no telling where youll end up. at least the exploit way is somewhat predictable.

This worked for me. I tried a 6'8" point SF drafted by the Suns with the LA Clippers being my team of choice. Worked through the rediculous process to get to the starting lineup and finally got to the cut scene where Eric Bledsoe asked me to be his side kick. Told Eric to take a hike and demanded the GM to trade Bledsoe at the next oppurtunity. After 5 or 6 games, was called into the GM's office and told that things were not working out and I am traded to the Clippers.

It is so cool to finally be on a good team in My Career. I feel like I don't have to do everything for us to win. I am using the point SF abilities to simply set the offense and call for low post Blake Griffen plays. This seems to help when playing an off-ball position.

                            regards,

Ok I need someone to answer this ASAP! I just played my first game as a starter and right after I got a GM office cut scene. I havent gotten the sidekick scene yet. I have the option to say I dont get along with a teammate. What should I do? Should I wait and just say things are great or should I do it now? I forgot to add that the Lakers are on top for most interested teams too. They are the team I want to go to.
