I sprained my ankle around January 10th. The trainer said I'd be out for 2-3 weeks. Will this affect the trade method? I also noticed that the schedule remains. I'm not missing any games. In fact, the coach said I'd be coming off the bench until I can show that my ankle can take it. All this, yet I'm in the game at the tipoff. Talk about a broken game.

yea that happens, but dont worry you dont miss more than 2 games and if your already a starter coach will not pull you back to the bench, its just a cutscene.

Another thing I'm concerned about is I've played about 5 games now as a starter. Nobody has asked me to be their sidekick. Should I be concerned? Right before I injured my ankle, the GM asked me how I feel the team is doing. I'm afraid that I'll miss another opportunity because the trade deadline is only 14 games away. If I don't see the sidekick cutscene, should I tell the GM to trade away Horford?

I would say yes ask to trade horford. I myself and few others did not get the side kick cut scene, still asked for the star teammate to be traded and this method worked. Most important requirement I think is that your favorite team MUST be on top of the teams interested in you when you ask for the star teammate to be traded.

Thanks a lot guys. Chicago just overtook Miami and are slightly more interested in me. Next GM meeting and I'll ask for Horford to be traded.

Not really related to the trade, but what did you guys choose when the big time agent asked you to switch? I never got the opportunity to answer him. Assuming that I'll get the chance later. I plan on keeping my friend.

If you are on the PS4 and want to be a traded to your favorite there is a different way too.

It seems to be a bit easier and I did it. On my second try I was traded to my favorite team, the Lakers. You save all your progress to the online storage, delete your latest save off of your system storage and then load the save right before you requested a trade and keep trying until you get to your favorite team. It explains it better above in the link.

I'm telling you guys, try this method. You don't have to go through all these requirements and if you miss one worry about it not working. You can do this method whenever, I asked for a trade as soon as it was available. It worked for me on the 2nd try, it took maybe an extra 30 minutes.

Umm. Don't know what just happened. I told the GM to trade Horford. My GM Chemistry went down to 1%. Played around 4-5 games. Got a cutscene w/ my agent about the Rising Stars endorsement deal. Then the next cutscene is Derrick Rose in the player's lounge. He's asking me to be his sidekick. I didn't get a cutscene that I was traded to Chicago. Did I and need to just wait one more cutscene after answering yes/no or did Atlanta trade Horford for Rose?

Yeeeeeaaahhhh! Got traded to the mavs. Played my first game and couldn't hit a 3 to save my life but there's so many shooters on this team they bailed me out. Gotta figure out how to get my boy Dirk more touches tho.

What position are you playing? I've been trying to get traded to the Mavs but no luck for me. I'm trying this method over again as a PG now.

I got traded to my favorite team (Orlando) without doing any of that. I kept up a good relationship with the team, but I hated playing for the Pelicans with Monty Williams jerking my minutes around and having me play out of position next to Jrue Holiday. So when I demanded a trade and got to the three team part, I out Orlando and two teams I knew I wouldn't go to: Miami and new York. Got traded two games later for the worst player the Magic had in the backcourt. Ronnie price.

What position are you playing? I've been trying to get traded to the Mavs but no luck for me. I'm trying this method over again as a PG now.
