20 games later post patch....

This is the most addicting sports gaming experience since College Hoops 2k8

Can't say enough good things about this game.

Great to have an addicting sports gaming experience again after the death of NCAA Football.

Finally got the patch in Europe.

Game plays a lot better. My guy feels snappy. even on offense (might be because I'm a small PG) Not tried my SF because the servers are down.

People have been complaining about the shooting but it's better for me?

I can finally hit open shots at a decent percentage where as before I was bricking pretty much everything.

Highlight is the stat overlays and A.I decision making, especially on offensive rebounds. Makes the game less frantic and more tactical.

This is going from MC. FTs have been ruined, they were hard enough to begin with. Too many fouls now on good shot contests making it nearly impossible to get blocks. And now you cant sprint in the opposing teams

really loving this game now that i'm getting more familiar with it. it really is a masterpiece. So many things are so impressive about this game - things that aren't easy to pull off in a video game...especially the complexity going on in all the movement and animations...all the subtlety going on in the animations is insane (rebounding, passing, shooting, dribbling). it's unreal what they were able to accomplish. good job to the devs.

now that i'm laying off turbo and getting better at my shot releases, i can win most of the time on Superstar and Hall of Fame. it's very rewarding.

my only real complaint is that certain players and teams are cheesy beyond belief on Superstar or Hall of Fame...certain players just don't miss and will make whatever they toss up. The Warriors are ultra cheesy that it's not even enjoyable to play against them. i play good defense and they still shoot around 55% a lot of the time. way too high for mostly contested shots.

Have you watched them play ball this year? The Splash Brothers are ****ting on the league; it's almost laughable the shots Steph make. Throws it up from his hip AND...Splash!

Played a game, OKC (me) at Lakers on HOF/sim 6min qtrs, I cooked them.
The game is smoother, reactivity is largely improved, rebounding seems better, there are a lot more tipped pass and ball handling has been nerfed and it gives you the feeling of a real game, before the patch everyone had a god ball handling.
As first approach, excellent.

One thing I've noticed that has been toned down is the CPU psychic ability to tip passes...and the increase in your team mates ability to play passing lanes....

The patch has added a lot of balance between the CPU and user and I think that's what has made the game post patch so enjoyable...

Didnt wanna start another thread but I cant get this update ?

When Im in game or a season mode I get a warning sign box in the bottom left corner of my screen , UPDATE REQUIRED , return to main menu to apply update but theres nothing in my notifications ???

The MyCareer shoes still aren't equipping as well, it's been over a week since they've said they're working on it. Getting a little frustrating.

yeah…after spending some more time with this game, i think 2k15 is the first game to surpass 2k11 in terms of enjoyment for me.

like you said…a big thing that stands out to me is the sense of "balance" and fairness. you don't have those "controller-throwing moments" where you just straight got cheesed or cheated by the game by some wonky animations or forced scenario. it all feels very much "in your hands"…how you play determines the outcome and i haven't felt that way about a 2k game since 2k11. it's all made possible by how amazingly the animations are handled. they made sure the right animation plays out based on your input, and they gave you enough animations to have control over just about every aspect of your game. no longer are you at the mercy of the game giving you wrong animations or forced cheese (well a little bit of cheese on Superstar, but not too much).

for the most part animations are quick and responsive and play out how you'd want. they finally got layups under the rim right…players just go straight up really fast and dump the ball in the hoop, rather than those long, delayed gathers that happened on inside shots in previous years. having responsive and appropriate contextual animations in every aspect of the game makes a world of difference.

They also shoot 8-19 on a regular basis. They never shoot 80-90% in a game
