Sorry if it's been asked already but has the input delay been fixed ? We haven't got the patch in Australia yet so I have no idea if that's been fixed.

Your guy is a little more responsive on defense. Blocking is better. But dribble moves and moving your ball-handler in general hasn't improved.

That doesn't sound too promising, I traded in the game when AC Unity came out because the delay ruined the game for me and was going to get it again once the patch hit but I might give it a miss if there's still a delay on the offense.

Man the game is 30 bucks, just get it because its worth that, and see for yourself.

I've had it before and the input delay killed the game for me , I'm not going to go out again wait until we finally get the patch here in Australia only for it to still be average at best. It's not quite $30 over here either, it's still around $70.

I haven't heard a lot of people say there hasn't been improvement in the movement...I think certain things are just burned in folk's brains whether it has\hasn't been changed or not.

I'd suggest trying it for yourself as well, don't know if you can rent it over there or what...

Well I certainly don't need to lie for 2k if it was an issue and this is the reason you don't see the input lag thread anymore.

You feel the change of the patch immediately when you play

That guy was spot on too.

There is definitely input lag with the ball handler still. I'm actually thinking about selling my game because of this. It is pretty much a deal breaker for me. I've held on to 2k this long because I believed it would be fixed and it hasn't. Honestly, I'll probably just keep it until the next big patch and if it isn't fixed then, it is gonna get sold while it still has a little value left.

The lag is the most noticeable when you are trying to do cross overs or spin moves. Spins moves are probably the worse in regards to lag. You'll start your spin a good 1/2 to 1 second after you finish the rotation on your stick. Whenever you do a cross over, there best be an enormous amount of space between you and the defender because he's probably gonna run into you and make you lose the ball by the time the animation starts. It can be pretty frustrating.

On to other things:

2k needs to patch that freaking update notification in the bottom left corner. I don't want to stop right in the middle of my game and go to the main menu. It will stay there the entire time until you do.

What is the purpose of this. It is mind blowingly annoying and I'd like to slap who ever thought this was a good idea.

What's the update 2k? Oh, cool.....I just exited my game and went through the trouble of going to the main menu to find out that 50/50 packs were in the myteam store. Great....that's only the 356th time I've been reminded of this update 2k. Thanks.

Oh....speaking of 50/50 packs.....lol

more like 10% packs....I bought probably 12-13 of those packs and managed to get 2 classic players....I got terry porter and a bronze guy for one of the wilt laker teams....i've mostly ended up with bronze players like brandon davies and serge karasev

Were the arena sounds etc not working properly before this patch? Currently playing my first game with the patch, thunder@lakers and man the arena sounds, sound great.

really loving this game now that i'm getting more familiar with it. it really is a masterpiece. So many things are so impressive about this game - things that aren't easy to pull off in a video game...especially the complexity going on in all the movement and animations...all the subtlety going on in the animations is insane (rebounding, passing, shooting, dribbling). it's unreal what they were able to accomplish. good job to the devs.

now that i'm laying off turbo and getting better at my shot releases, i can win most of the time on Superstar and Hall of Fame. it's very rewarding.

my only real complaint is that certain players and teams are cheesy beyond belief on Superstar or Hall of Fame...certain players just don't miss and will make whatever they toss up. The Warriors are ultra cheesy that it's not even enjoyable to play against them. i play good defense and they still shoot around 55% a lot of the time. way too high for mostly contested shots.
