Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Wow, I mean, on one hand it's a bummer classic teams took a sharp turn backward from 2K12 to 2K16, but it's pretty cool to see some of these guys finally get the love they got on last gen. Perhaps this will also put an end to the arguments suggesting 1) the classic faces were as good as they could be without real face scans and 2) They were as good as they'd always been but just seemed less so due to the current players' improvements.
2k coming in clutch with this! Excellent!

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
FYI the white wrap workaround still works. You just have to give your players no socks then add white tape. I'm loving the classic teams no tbh. They all look so much better. They were touched up from head to toe. I just really wish we could edit those retro uniforms.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
nah, they have to be assigned Converse already, can't select Converse manually, which is surprising since they not only including 3 models but many different colorways for each model. You would think we could select Converse manually. Also, if they are already assigned Converse, you can't change to another brand, so the player is locked into Converse. I know its something about contracts with the NBA but Converse is owned by Nike so not sure why that matters. Atleast we can create new shoes this year and assigned them...Comment

You could re create those with the shoe creator tool in game ...."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
I'm certain I'd be awful at that. Can shoes be downloaded from other users? Or maybe I could just copy someone's tutorial somewhere. Is it easy to save and then apply those shoes to players without issue? Are they tied to whichever roster you're working on or separate entities? Question mark?
Edit: Thanks for listening to my inner monologue.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
you got the Air Force 1s there that can be edited, but creating a generic shoe with a plain Nike sign is easy. Same for Adidas. I created some generic 3 stripe Adidas for Kareem and Bill Walton. Since this is the old shoe creator, we probably can go back to 2014/15 thread to get those formulas for the retro shoes like Worthy's New Balances...Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
I love the Robinson upgrade man. One of my favorite players. If we still had Create a Legend I would have already started one with him. Bill Russell too...
Barely even played with the classic Spurs before this year.
Hope 2k understands that for some, the effort put into these guys determines how much they are used if used at all. I appreciate the guys they got to this year though.
Now bring on T-Mac!Comment

Ah well. Progress is still progress. Looks like the '89 Pistons still look a little rough, too. Alas, Rome wasn't built in a day.Comment

the best we can hope for is lockout either of the next 2 season for a deeper classic sets ala what happened with 2k12. Catch 22"Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment
