Nice to see they went in and made some huge improvements to some of the legend faces this year. Best looking Larry Legend we have had since the jump to the new systems sadly it took 4 games to get to that point though.

side note holy grail of retro basketball. i and a few others did great things with that game.

Yes it was a nice throwback game but for current day use it was horrible with the lockout and it suffered . Especially coming off at the time the best basketball game ever made it was a huge downgrade . 2k12 wasn't a very good game at all only for you nostalgic guys who like retro and who paid for that cell shaded game.


Online play got worse , took out crew ,ratings and roster updates were almost non existent especially at the start with no rookies unless you had access to hex editing . I was so frustrated with that game that year at best I would give it a 6 or 7 but for retro lovers it was dope for the old teams and filters .

Magic and Birds colorways are there already, just edit their shoes, select colorway, select weapons, they should be there...

I'm happy, but it doesn't make sense. Unless it's the same file from his last season, which has always been there. But why not assign him to the 2003-04 Pistons then?

I think the more you know about a sport and the more hardcore you are about it the more difficult time you have enjoying the video game of it. I am a VERY casual basketball fan. I watch it very sporadically and I have since the 80s.

To me the legends look absolutely great, especially Jordan I fact, and I'm happy they included the ones that they did. I suppose ignorance really is bliss LOL

Agreed. 98 Kobe signature moves look incredible. The legends feel great this year.

I'll look to offload 2k17 next week and keep hold of 2k16, that should keep me happy until next year - see what 2k18 brings.......

So this guy got stuck with the tiny anorexic arms in 2K LMAO.. Yao too.

2k needs to patch these guys soon. Or better yet, just give us options to change body types. It was in past games, can't be all to difficult right?

Sorry man. I tried. I went back several times over the weekend to play it, just to see if I was being overly trivial - Every time left me frustrated.

A few updated player faces here and there just isn't enough to keep me playing this. There's simply too many things I don't like about the game. 16 just feels much better to me, personally - I'm back on it already with no regrets - Jordan isn't neutered, sig wise. I get to keep all the legends that are missing from this year, plus hold on to the signature size up dribbles, and the wealth of shoes we had as opposed to this year.

I've honestly tried to like 2k17, but it simply doesn't deliver the experience I wanted. The new stuff is great, but not at the expense of removing old stuff I loved.

Actually Willis was pretty famous for having a very short wingspan. He was certainly muscular though.
