The whole uniform is wrong! The red jersey should say "MIAMI" on the front and have the NBA logo on the top left of the jersey. Heck, no red alt Heat Jersey has ever had "HEAT" on the front. :jordan:

And wasn't 1994 Hakeem Olajuwon mysteriously given a pair of goggles in 2K14 even though he only wore them over a short stretch of one season multiple years earlier?

That's the type of stuff that really makes me think. Like, I get not having time to pay attention to classic teams, but how in the world did someone on staff manage to go out of their way to add such terribly inaccurate details? As you said, neglecting Olajuwon and Walton would have left them more accurate than what they threw together there.

They did indeed, they also removed Worthy's for that year and someone else's maybe? Carr?

Also Celtics Walton didn't have the beard, so it's odd they added it without adding a Blazer team. I guess it's just so the My Team version would resemble a prime Walton.

This thread must have been combed over several times by 2k but y'all know they'll just ignore it because they know how royally pissed folk are with their lack of work on the legends. They give us 12 new teams (Thanks, that's was kind, sincerely), then we realize most teams are only about 7/8 deep with most of the uniforms and players looking nothing like their real life counter parts.

If 2k spent less time on the fairytale basketball of myplayer or whatever the hell it's called these days, perhaps they could have had more resources to focus on actual NBA stuff, past and present.

Man, I'd be happy if 2k had enough coin in the bank to make a completely separate game just for classic basketball. I'd buy that stuff up with 'No regard for human life.'

My opinion is that of the same. Last 2 years I haven't created my player, done MyGm, Park, My Team etc. All I play is a TONNE of Quick Games and Season games. And I'd give legends a fair run (ahead of all of the other modes) no question.....


But alas, we appear to be the minority...... and 2K need to appeal to the masses to make some money to keep improving our beloved hoops game.....

Totally agree, I'm sure some will have a serious problem with my opinion, but it is exactly just that. I'm not looking for a virtual fight with anyone - I know plenty out there who have zero interest in the legends or anything outside of online play, and that's fine, I just think the majority of those modes are detrimental to the overall way 2k uses it's resources. Instead of fantasy modes, it should be giving us total NBA immersion, not wittering away its cash on 'story' modes of how 'John Smith' made it from a park baller to the big time.

As you said though, we're in a minority.

I'd rather the fantasy modes be a separate entity, or DLC tack ons and leave the main game completely focused on past and present NBA. But that's just wishful thinking fueling my own selfish needs.

We all want something different, 2k must feel the strain on that every year.

I feel the same the way also, the legends teams is what I prefer to play, because of my age, but I would love for the legends especially MJ to get some love. Why even have legends if not represented correctly, its a waste of money resources and the rights to there names, if not done correctly.
