Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Also earlier in this thread someone posted a screen shot of the 2013 Heat and it looked as though Dwyane Wade may have had a beard in it. Tough to tell due to the quality but interesting to note, given that the footage we have seen of the 2006 Wade showed him to have just a goatee which apparently was his 2k15 current Heat player model. That at least seems to suggest an intention to somewhat differentiate the 2006 and 2013 Wade player models. I'm hoping for at least the same for the 3 LeBron player models in the game.Last edited by LeBronistheKing; 09-21-2015, 01:31 PM.Comment

Yeah. Isaiah and Rodman look atrocious too. But Dumars is borderline awful. Larry Bird might be the worst thoughComment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
It's safe to say that Jordan and the legends were after thoughts. They were probably given to the "B" team at 2k and probably outsourced to the China 2K art team lol.
I am a game developer my self so I know a bit about game and art design. I also come from the NLSC modding community. And its sad that hobbyist modders pay more attention to detail and show more passion for the game than the hired 2K art staff does. Its completely inexcusable.
If that's the case, how does one decide what gets created where? And does that create a division in art direction?Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Simple, copy and paste. It's not a priority right now. Their focus is on the current stuff because of limited time and resources so by copying and pasting art files that are already done, you get these results (like getting the 93 Zo on the 06 Heat when he'd been bald for almost 10 years to that point).Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Funny how they didn't show Jordan in game in the trailer released today, but they show him in real footage..... This proves they know they are wrong for putting him on cover and charging 80. That's wild.Comment

I was just going to say the same thing. They realize he looks like **** and only decided to show his sneakers and real footage of him. It's a damn shame.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
The fact that we have 2K developers who actively post here, and we have this 330+ post thread going, and not one dev has chimed in, says all we know need to know about the status of classic teams in this year's game...Comment

I'm going to be optimistic and say that they saw this post and decided to patch him on day one.Comment
