I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks Rip's mask is too bright (meaning, it needs to be more transparent).

(I'm pretty sure he had the same issue in NBA '09 The Inside...)

Will 2K be updating player faces or is it permanent?

We only only hope.

My optimistic side believes they had Legends on their bottom of the to-do list, but planned to come around to it shortly after launch. But with legends being a solid factor in this years game, they will FOR SURE be cleaning up the mess of half finished faces, accessories, jerseys, etc. They just haven't gotten to all yet..but the ones they have like KAJ, Ben Wallace, etc all are on point, and remember we have evidence of them cleaning up (or attempting to) Iverson and Jordan since the screenshots and even gameplay leaked a couple weeks prior to now..so it looks like they ARE in process.

They know they have some time before a chunk of people start getting to legends unlocked in this mode, where accuracy will be very important with emphasis on this mode "mattering". This isn't just offline quick match.

So, it makes sense to me if true. They are probably working on legends now, or hopefully, in the time the have before people unlock them for online use.

They didn't have this type of leway with other modes.

MJ looks better this year, not 2k11 better. i think Kobe looks worse. His face is like too round and too clean imo.

One thing 2K did right is the name on the Bulls jerseys. The curve is almost right (could be a bit more curved) and the outlined serif font makes it look great.




I think the names used sans-serif font with no outline until 1992...



...and they changed it to the serif outlined font from 1992-93 and on.

Dave, Will you be using other Bulls teams? I may be in minority, but I 98 MJ was my least favorite Jordan. Can you play with an early 90's MJ, or even better, late 80's MJ?

Sure thing, I'll give young MJ a run tomorrow - Been using older Mike due to his play style - a lot of jumpers and post play - easier for me to pull of right now as I haven't got the dribble moves down yet!!

Classic teams look good this year, even with the inaccuracies. I'll sure play with some of them when I get the game (but only after a price drop, it's damn pricey here!).

Yeah, I have to say, when you have a game that is so detailed that it even lets you chose if your player chews gum or not, I just can't fathom how they managed to get some of the legends so DRASTICALLY wrong.

One that really caught my attention, Spree. Dayum that guy is so off!

Another thing I became aware of today that I'll probably kick up a fuss over - the four 'signature size ups' we have this year - yeah, we can only edit one of them outside of my career. The other 3 are pre set so we can't modify them. So outside of me giving Mike a double through the legs dribble, I can't assign him the other 3.

Not good, 2k, not good.

I've taken some screens of my 1998 Jordan edit, with shots and dunk packages - I'll upload them first thing tomorrow. It's not exact, more a work in progress, but I like the way I've set him up.

Spree too? Not Spree..

Honestly I never found it 'easy' to re create Jordan or Vince via CAP on roster so would make/share. But I did re create the Knicks once and Sprewell was one of the easiest guys to make aside from not having his exact dreads to equipt. Face wise, he's pretty easy.

Still Jordan and Vince are icons obviously and should start looking accurate SOON or I'm gonna flip
