Re: PS4 highlight reel >8min Quarters ?
So last night I used simcast for a game and jumped in during the second half (last 3 mins of the 3rd) and played the remainder of the game on 12 minute quarters.
At the end of the game, the highlights were there, but only for highlights that occurred during the time I was actively playing the game.
So could this be a workaround?
I might test it again with another game, but jump in very early, like in the first 30-60 seconds and play the game and see if the highlights work. If so, it could definitely be a workaround, and all you would really miss out on is the pre-game show and the introductory stuff.
Anyone else noticed this?Comment

Re: PS4 highlight reel >8min Quarters ?
There must be a way to work around the issue, cap the number of highlights each qtr, set stricter parameters on what a highlight is,just get it to work to show the highlights that are already created when it stops saving new ones.
If getting all highlights to save/show isn't possible at least get it so that some show in the post game show.I would take some over none.Comment

I still don't understand why they couldn't/haven't come up with a work around over the last few years.

Re: PS4 highlight reel >8min Quarters ?
Im playing My League with the latest updated version 1.05 and this feature is not working it was working for me around the 3rd patch but ever since I updated its no longer working. Maybe I should try to turn updates off on the PS4 and choose not to install patches any more considering I only play offline because the online play cost $MONEY$.
Edit!
Sometimes it works some times it doesn't so I don't know anymore!Last edited by jada855; 02-19-2016, 02:42 AM.Proud member of the 0.04%Comment

Re: PS4 highlight reel >8min Quarters ?
Apologies for the bump from way back.
PS4 USERS
Considering NBA2k17's release is approaching, I wanted to get people's experience with the XBOX version of 2k16. I have the PS4 and all issues mentioned in this thread still rings true as of today. NBA2k16 will be the last NBA 2k basketball game that I will ever buy for the Playstation system unless 2K finds a solution for it.
12 minutes quarters.
XBOX ONE USERS???
I'm exploring the possibility of going the XBOX route for my future 2K basketball releases. I want to know if it's still working properly on the XBOX one.
(A) 12 minute quarters. Both halftime and end of the game highlights (and player of the game highlights), including in between quarters highlights..... if you play multiple consecutive games at one sitting.
(B) Do you have to be connected to the internet in order to play the game? Can I turn off my internet connect through Xbox's dashboard and load the game for offline play?Last edited by strawberryshortcake; 08-21-2016, 05:41 PM.Comment

Re: PS4 highlight reel >8min Quarters ?
I can confirm that the Xbox One works as is supposed to. Full 12-minute quarters have halftime, end of game, and individual player highlights. After getting okie doke'd with the PS4 version for 2K15, I bought a Xbox One to play 2K from now on (and be my media machine). 2K16 highlight features work on the Xbox One, plus Sapp/Dreece's Fictional Draft Class is also available for just the Xbox One and you can't go wrong with that.
I'm torn. I love the end of game highlights in the X1 the X1 gets some patches weeks after the ps4. I remember with 2k15, the big gameplay patch came like a month after the ps4.
I went with the ps4 last year for that reason.Comment

Has any developer confirmed if this is a glitch or if there is a technical reason why the PS4 can't have full-game highlights?Ryan Spencer
