I too play on broadcast view, the euro step would be pulling the shot stick to around 7/8 o'clock to finish right handed and 10/11 o'clock to finish left handed.

Thank you for that info. It worked like a dream. You know that move where Harden starts driving to the basket then stops on a dime then steps back for the pull-up? Can you do that in this game??

Anyone know how to keep the camera the same for each game in MyLeague? I asked on the q&a thread, thx whoever answered, they said they changed it in a quick game though & it asked if you wanted that as your default. I haven't seen this option of setting a default camera in MyLeague, so every new game I have to change it. Am I missing something obvious here?

man, the same thing happens online!!! doesn't happen all the time, but 3/5 times it does. each game after opening jump ball, the camera goes to broadcast when I had already set it to 2k. smh.

I'm not really sure why people are disagreeing with the method I laid out unless it's a different move than what the in-game menu is saying (i.e., R2 + flick right stick away), which doesn't work for me.

Just try it before you denounce it.

To reiterate, you need to press both the left stick and the right stick at the same time while in the triple threat position. Depending on which direction you press the left stick, your player will do a different move (e.g., left stick away from basket = step back).

Yeah, your tutorial absolutely worked for me. I was befuddled at the 2k tutorial, because it didn't do anything.

I doubt my question will get an answer but can someone teach me how to play defense laterally on broadcast camera? Especially when defending against other users in Mypark im getting burned bad and before anyone says change my camera I just want to add I refuse to play on 2k camera. Either its Broadcast/Beluba camera or nothing at all.

why do you not want to play on 2k camera?

In 4 days of gameplay in STILL haven't managed to throw an alley oop!!

Double press triangle and point left stick towards the target player....

Why is it not working??

It just throws a medium height 'lob' pass which gets intercepted.

So I may be missing something here but I'm a PC player and have been playing Quick Games since the game came out. For all the talk about defense and fantastic offensive movement, I'm not seeing it in game. Most of the CPU's points come off fast break buckets in the paint. That's fine and good, I'm probably not getting back fast enough, but I was under the impression that with the setting AI Coach Adjustments set to Auto, I would be seeing defensive adjustments throughout the game. This hasn't been the case. My teams just continue to play the same way until I go into defensive adjustments and make the adjustments myself. Additionally, I'm not seeing a lot of ball movement from the CPU. The play the CPU runs is usually a pick and roll where either three things happen:

1) I stop it (very rare) using goo anticipation, good hedging by the big man.
2) My big man hedges, the help defense is too slow and the roll man either gets a dunk or a mid range shot.
3) The point guard forces his way into the paint.

In the last two scenarios my defense looks lost almost every time. Sometimes in scenario 3, I see the PG just force his way in with unrealistic dribble moves. I very rarely get a defensive stop when the above scenario happens. This then leads me to ask the question, where is my defensive adjustment?

I also am not seeing any double teams when a smaller guard is posted up by a big man. I've gotten quite a lot of these switches and haven't seen a single double team.

Can any of you guys shed some light on why my teams aren't making any defensive adjustments? I heard there will be a sizable ACE update soon so I'm hoping that will alleviate the issues that I'm seeing where teams don't run their sets. If Czar or OG can chime in here, that would be awesome!

Unfortunately it looks like the game automatically picks the face-up animation for you, so there's no option on choosing how you want to face-up (either towards your opponent or away from your opponent).

trying to understand this, what do u mean face-up away from yor opponent?

if press LT, post up back the defender.
when release LT, face the defender.

ok on step back ... i find it easy to do it now by moving back LS and shoot (RS or X button). on the other hand, i cant do a fadeaway with this input now. i mean standing and facing the basket i want to launch fadeaway but end up doing the step back. any workaround?

The correct method is to use the left stick (away) + right stick (any direction). To perform a side step or forward step, press the left stick in the appropriate direction + right stick (any direction).

Sounds odd, but I'll try it. Haven't been able to perform those moves with 2K's instructions.

Does the direction of the RS determine anything?
