OK. So my friend says his 2k view on my park auto flips. Is this true? My camera is stuck one direction all game and usually it's the wrong direction I like. Should I try uninstal then redownload? I can't get an answer from anyone on this issue.

How do I stop giving up offensive rebounds? I have my poe set to crash defensive glass, my bigs are Robin Lopez Mason Plumlee and Mozgov coming off the bench. They never box anyone out.

Any tips on dribbling? Im not after any cheese just some basic pointers. Playing a SG that's like to do driving layups and dunks, but I just cant get past anyone. Rating is only 65 atm, but I am really struggling to make any space or anything to drive.

LOL Not even got it up to HoF setting yet ;p

I second this. Can't seem to be able to dribble anyone in my career. sure my player still sucks atm (65 overall) but i assume i could still dribble against a weak defender.

I watched shakedowns dribble tutorial but it lists moves and doesnt give any real advice as how to approach dribbling. For example, when dribbling, do you use the run button most of the time ?

I'm not a basketball player, like never ever. But in 2k15, i managed to create some actual moves. This year seems like everything i do is bounce against the defender. And i play in just above Pro difficulty.

So yeah, any pointers would be much appreciated. If you also have some size ups, crossover etc.. animations to suggest, i'd like that too.

          Thanks guys

Not sure I can help but FYI Lopez is awful on the defensive glass. I think he was last in the league in def Reb rate, hence his 58 def reb rating

I'm interested in anyone that's broken down the freelance Triangle. I can't seem to activate the pinch post action properly. Either there's a guard in the post, or they won't flow into a PNR after the handoff/cut through.

This thread talks about how to use screens. Might help.

Anyone know how to activate the 'Jordan rules' defensive set?

Have literally zero idea how to go about this.

Also, can we change defensive matchups on the fly? I've seen the cpu switch up it's defenders on me, mid game, is there a way we can do this?

I'm sure DaCzar will do it soon. They definitely changed it from last year and I'm having trouble as well. I barely called set plays in 2K15 and over the summer with updated rosters I was cooking with Melo and Afflalo at the elbow. Need to get that action back, for now I'm just calling the set plays for them to get the ball there.

I'm also having trouble getting the action where a big gets the ball strong side in the post and the strong side guard in the corner cuts through on the baseline. That was great in 2K15 esp when the D started overplaying.

That one usually works for me. But playing as the current NYK, Posting up Robin Lopez isn't a go to play haha. Usually I have to be patient. If Melo ends up in the corner my guard on the wing will down screen him to curl then cut baseline. You just have to burn a lot of clock to set it up.

Pg/SG and SF/PF are supposed to be interchangeable in the triangle but it seems like any player is interchangeable in 2k's triangle system. No disrespect to Czar, these offenses do some amazing things it's really incredible this year. I'm just hoping he or someone else can enlighten me to what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to lab it a bit but if someone's already got it figured out that would be amazing if they could shed some light on the subject.

I don't like when my most effective plays are iso's and post ups but this game is tough. These Pg's are animals fighting over these screens. OG needs to chill lol. I can't run a pick and roll without every defender playing like Gary Payton 😂

I hear ya, it's not easy doing the iso/post-heavy stuff. To combat cheese it feels like the devs have made that type of offense more difficult to live by, plus as you mentioned it takes a long time to get into stuff in the Triangle.

Every few games I get tempted to ditch the Triangle and go up-tempo, PnR heavy.

I could imagine those play take too long to get into.

Seriously... someone? I just lost on Allstar again The offense isn't working right but I usually get it to go after a bit of fiddeling around but I just get outclassed on defense. Is there anything I can do? Should I tweak any settings? One of the problems I have encountered with auto hedging is that if an attacker loses my controlled player via a screen my guys always hard hedge and that way I often give up easy rolls to the paint. Should I set it on soft hedge for all so that basically the drive is covered yet the roll is defendable?

I have also encountered the touch down pass phenom several times a game now and have yet to find a way to defend that. Is that because my second line of big man only has a defensive awareness and consistency of around 60? because it doesn't happen on the fastbreak. It happens after a basket. The opponent puts the ball into play, my guys are sill setting up and they throw a pass from more than half court right into my paint for an easy dunk.

Also how do you defend properly man to man? I have had several instances in which I was on tight and contested the shot and still had a three drained on me just like that. Or other times when the AI passed the ball around 3 times without any actual movement and my players were totally out of position and like 3 arm lengths away from a three point shooter. How do I defend that? What do I need to change in my defensive gameplan to minimize that?

On offense I have encountered several times that I was not able to do any plays or pick and rolls because the defense keeps dodging screens, even off screens to get someone open. How do I counter that? What would be a good strategy to employ when that happens because it usually leaves me completely stuck?

Does anybody have any good advise for a good playbook or a score of plays for a team of mostly shooting bigs (Kaminsky, Porzingis, Mirotic only non shooting big is Drummond) and some agile and athletic guards (Middleton, Oladipo, Schröder, MCW, Hezonja)? I just can not find any playbook and offensive setting that has a nice flow to it and does not degenerate into just pick and rolls and pick and fades. I ran with the triangle in 2k15 and it worked really nicely and had a good flow to it but somehow this year it doesn't work as nicely. (Oh btw. I hate Iso so I don't have any Iso plays at all in my playbook and no Iso plays assigned to any of my players).
