Ok, this may seem very elementary, but I cannot create spacing at all between me and the defender to create a shot. Whether I'm playing in scrimmage offline or against a human online, when I do have to iso my team (Bucks) do not have a quick ball handler that can create their own shots, which results in alot of forced off balanced "very early/late release" shots. Pretty frustrating. And mind you I have played in scrimmage mode for hours at a time.

^^ My go to move with Melo in the low post. While holding down LT for the post up, also hold RT and press the shotstick away from the hoop. I believe the shot can only be done with a live dribble, not positive though.

I remembered it being RS away. I was forgetting to hold RT.

One of my go to moves with Melo too. I run the Knicks in MyGM every year.

Adding this move, especially when he had a little guard or poor defender on him, really helped me with Kobe in the post in the last game I played. That got him hot, and got a couple of 3's to go down for a change. First game I shot over 50% with him in 2K16.

How do you get a good first step? I can't seem to get by anyone, ever. Even when I get them to turn their backs, I get weird hung up animations.

The whole dribbling system feels awkward as hell to me.

Many discuasions on here about overpowered CPU defense and inconsistent launch points on dribble drives.

Tech me how the defensive settings work? I understand the hedge, go under/over on screens but I am curious what Ice does and I noticed the new setting this year for something like hedge (center) and same for on ball screen. As well as auto switch rule. Can some one explain those a little better to me please?

I can pick and pop with porzingus every play. Porky is left open every shot, every time on superstar. He is money too. I won him an mvp. My question is why am I able to exploit the cpu so easy? They collapse on my point guards Marcus Smart and Dennis S who aren't even great offensively leaving P open for the mid range j or 3. They never adjust. This is a problem. What can I change slider wise for them to shut porzingus down

This is from OGs blog.

"NEW – Pre rotations - You can now pre-rotate in pick and roll situations. This is great to use against strong dive guys such as Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan."

Im guessing pre-rotating means a guy steps across to block off the roller.

Can someone say what kind of defensive oiptions would Indy with Hibbert use? I have him with Lakers and he's a beast down low and in the paint defensively. I don't hedge with him at all and play 'gap' on his matchups and I force all players middle because I feel more comfortable having Kobe/Clarkson funnel players to Hibbert and not them taking them 1v1.

The guard would go over the ball screen and Hibbert wouldnt hedge at all.
