    The fact that we've never really heard anyone comment on or acknowledge the issue leads me to believe it's a fundamental "problem" with the AI programming that was never going to have a shot at being patched this year. I'll bet this likely calls for a complete rewrite of some AI code, which would be something for another year's game (hopefully 2k17...please? ).

      That is my feeling also which is why I am in preparation to go into details on my wishlist for 2k17. It is in the infancy stage as it is going to be more basketball "coach" speak that need to be applied to the defensive side to compete with the growing offensive advancement in the past 2 cycles.

      And a rewrite of transition defense code based on numbers of players back(5 on 4, 3 on 2 etc) and applying the proper principle and not a generic one size fit all is the main idea for my 2k17 wishlist because in 2k16 from my labbing so far 2k only use one principle of transition defense . I won't go into any more details until I can verify that it is just this one principle I am seeing. But will try and drop it no later than next week after my further lab work.
