Anyone want to help me assign a fair number of badges to all around SF playstyle above this post? After this I plan on doing C position playstyles, stats, badges.

I admire the effort and thought you've put into this, but I would hate to play the game using these ultra-specific positions and skill sets.

Every single RPG game has a specific skillset.

And they are just not making up positions, they are creating possibilities withing a balanced system, so people realize there is much more flexibility in the game instead of just being mad they can't make Lebron.

The ratings are based of what you can get using current buckets system and not just random numbers that seem fit?

Every single RPG game has a specific skillset.

And they are just not making up positions, they are creating possibilities withing a balanced system, so people realize there is much more flexibility in the game instead of just being mad they can't make Lebron.

But its a basketball game first, not a rpg. Nobody wants to grind even more before they can play online in thepark and proam. Maybe mycareer should be separate. What nba player clocks 5000 park games and 500 proam games during a season.

Also, i hate to break it to you, but you can make 100 limited one dimensional average nba players, but people will still mosty be the 3 or 5 most effective. Happens in every rpg and here too. No matter how ratings have been done the last 3 years, most people run the same setup.

What do you mean? Are you talking about the current bucket system attribute rating? Or what I'm suggesting?

Can we create these types of players with those exact attributes using current bucket system in mycareer?

Not with the way attributes decrease with the height. If I want a Point Forward that is 6'9 that can't be done in current system with how your speed/shot/handle/ all get nerfed. But the way I carefully designed the attributes for each playstyle, you're a specific playstyle that suits you and how you play. You'll have strengths and weaknesses and every attribute will be effective and mean something. These aren't final either, I've been tweaking them every day so the numbers will always change, but I think this brings the best balance online so everybody isn't creating the same type of player and dumping their VC on the same categories (alas the bucket system).

This is in its early stage and I would like to decrease the attributes fairly if you want to select a 6'9 Point Forward. I haven't quite thought about that yet because if attributes don't decrease as u get taller then everyone will be a 6'9 Point Forward and not 6'6-68.

EDIT: I realized that I read your post correctly, but just to let you know this thread is a suggestion of what 2k can piggy back on after implementing stat CAPS for next year. What we're discussing is that balanced, inside, and outside are very vague and only focuses on "scoring style" meaning offense is the primary focus in NBA 2K16 My Player creation. Essentially what I and the OP wants is a more variety of playstyles that will truly reflect your attributes. I'm keeping this thread alive creating examples of playstyles hoping that a 2k dev catches it and takes it into consideration. It will be a lot more fun IMO and give us more to look forward to when playing online or in My Career. In the end they need to NERF the bucket categories and let user apply VC to attributes individually.
