Thanks guys...my only wish is devs will post into this thread and explain what happened and when will be patched...still not sure how this was overlooked by devs and QA team...

This is great. Also has anyone sent a message to the devs to let them know that the CPU off/def playcall is set to manual instead of Auto? Also what does the Pre-rotate setting do?

I sent to devs and also Steve has...

I didn't touch pre-rotate...just set everything to AUTO

yes exactly! And select a coach plan for every team POE......2K put all team with the same POE.....

So just select what you think is best for that team? I suppose MyLeague would be beneficial being able to edit POE for all teams without having to do that all the time. I know the initial tweak with the auto/manual would have to be done every time until 2k patches it

You can in roster editor for every team......they point is POE shoulde be dynamic IMHO...I don't think NBA teams have fixed POE they change them based on who they are playing on daily basis....

I saw like "neutral" maybe is the best for every team....da Czar can help us on this for sure....but AUTO seems to be also here the best setting for CPU

Ahh I see in roster editor. I agree, it should be based on the opponent. I thought that was why coaches mattered so much. It should be tied to the coach.

...or we can have them based on stats like:

- NBA Teams with less point in the paint allowed will have POE set to "Protect Paint"
- NBA Teams with less point allowed from outside will have POE "Limit Perimeter Shots"

That could work as well. I like them being tied to coaches & new roster additions. I see the Hornets are shooting more 3's than last year & are somewhat trying to adopt the Warriors playing style. One of Dragic's demands so to speak with resigning with the Heat was more up-tempo play.

Since it is not possible to fix this manually in either mycareer or mygm, i really hope the devs somehow get it fixed on their side. The timing of the upcoming patch makes it unlikely i am afraid ...

EDIT: Found a workaround for mygm as well, need 2 controllers though:

1)On the start game screen choose the opposing team with the 2nd controller and start the game
2) pause with your 2nd controller and make changes
3) start game again for a second
4) Then pause with your main controller (important to keep your main profile assigned to your team)
5) live-sim a few seconds, jump back in and voila: Opponent is controlled by the cpu again with the settings still applying

I didn't even notice that 2K did that....wow. There seems to be 4 or 5 little simple things for them to correct that will make this game way more dynamic and fun. Now I guess my problem will be should I go through and set every teams POE to auto or should I try to set it to what I believe each team playing style is.

Saw a tweet from the da_czar, he states they are supposed to be off because you bypassing something if you turn them on. Very vague answer and surprising to read that manual was a decision they were full aware of. But seeing how the game play is so much better with auto on is puzzling.

MANUAL = almoust 0 double teams or DIG or help from CPU defense

Did they get this?
So that means no patch?

I'm puzzled too. I'm guessing there should be a "." after "be" and a new sentence with "your" being "You're". I just want to understand. If this is the case what are we bypassing? Bad cpu logic?
