I will never be that kind of gamer, personally, i love ACE, ratings and real percentages...
See that's where my dilemma is. I think 2k17 plays an amazing game of simulation ball.

Shots need to fall a LOT less. There's simply just too many made shots, the FG %'s are off the charts.

I can guarantee if we asked people to play 12 min. quarters on All star or above, and the post the team stats, no one would have a game where either team scored less than 100 points.

No idea how this can work...If sliders are tied to difficulty then how do we select custom sliders? Surely if I play on HoF then those are the preset silders i'm using and not my custom ones that I selected? Otherwise i'm not really playing HoF because in the custom sliders you can now change the rating boost the CPU gets, so theoretically if the custom sliders did work on HoF I could just lower everything and make HoF the easiest difficulty of all time.

Makes no sense, did they forget to add a "custom" difficulty option?

There's no more game styles, just difficulty levels.

Scores were a little bit high last year on superstar sim but this year's pace and transition is great so the game has unlimited potential...but shooting percentages ruining the whole experience...

LOL I'm not even shocked at this point. Maybe Mike Wang will fix this since shooting is so easily adjusted now, but until then I can't play this game.

So disappointing but this is a seriously problem.

I had great games with that set against the AI. I will post more box scores (user vs AI), but CPUvsCPU has so many problems and i'm not quite sure it's affected by sliders.

I will no longer run a CPU-CPU game. After that stats sheet i'm scared. If i have to be honest CPUvsCPU box scores tell us that there are many problems beyond shooting percentages...

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?

I just did all star default and lowered both the CPU and user 3 point slider to 40 and the mid range to 45 and I loved the results on my end. I was the Cavs and I was barely able to muster 25 points against the Warriors in the first quarter. They made some great defensive plays and forced some bad possessions. I didn't feel cheated offensively. If I worked hard for an open shot, it still went down a good percentage of the time. I shot about 40% in the first quarter. But the Warriors still shot 61%. Their 3 point shooting felt fair (5/7), but I still felt a little weak defensively as a unit. I want to get a good balance where I don't feel cheated offensively AND defensively. So far I've made the offensive end fair but challenging for me, but defense is still a bit too hard for my liking. I'll tinker with it some more later and try to balance things out.

Luckily this should be a pretty easy thing to fix for the devs, but it is pretty absurd.

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?

I don't mind high scoring games but in 2ks world all the teams are the same and can score a ridiculous amount of points. There's just no variety when playing the game.

I would like to see low scoring games. Either it's done by playing stout defense or both teams shooting really poorly. Looks like I'm going to have to mess with sliders.

I would love to drop down to all star but I want the full effect of ACE. It kinda sucks that it's only available on superstar and hof.

Right on. I just had Charlie Villanueva light me up for 22 points in the first half. All on 3's and jumpshots. Most of them contested with a hand in his face.

I shut the game off when he hit a buzzer beater, fade away 3 with a hand in his face right before halftime. Iv'e had enough of the nonsense with shooting already.

I'm hoping a a roster update will fix this. Then again I've said the same thing in the past. There's not enough people to complain about this issue.
