All I want is for the cpu to not play all God like. It's like they have Auto green release on by default.Comment

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?
I'm not very good with sliders, but to not have an equal slider set AT ALL is silly imo.
There are 5 settings with all-star being the medium difficulty. Imo this should be where CPU = User. Then rookie and pro could favor user and superstar and HOF favor CPU.
It's always annoyed me that MyCareer couldn't be played with equal sliders, because 2K doesn't have these out of the box.
Hopefully the slider experts will find a good set for us to use!Success is temporary - Loyalty means forever

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?
Decided to drop down to pro difficulty for the first time since 2013. Absolutely beautiful simulation... IFF you drop the user mid range to 45 and 3 point to 40. I was the Cavs against the Warriors. Cavs shot 47% (shot 46% in finals). Warriors shot 44% (shot 43% in finals). The Warriors shot 16/41 from 3.... They shot 15/41 from 3 in Game 7. The three point percentages were dead accurate almost. Just a beautiful game that was very challenging. I never once felt cheated. The individual stats looked just like real life tooComment

Did this really work over multiple games?Comment

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?
It takes whatever difficulty you currently have selected and then works from there. So if you want full on ACE, set the difficulty to HOF and then tweak away

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?
For those having too high shooting %
- Change all the shooting sliders to even for both you and the CPU (50's for all).
- Change CPu offensive/defensive awareness up to 55-70 depending on your skill level, the higher you go the smarter the CPU will play ( I have mine at 68).
- The offensive/defensive awareness settings is really where you get the difficulty from as it effects the CPU's ability to play with higher or lower bball IQ depending on how high or low yo set it.
- Lastly, and this is where the lower FG% comes into play without having to change their attributes... Turn offensive consistency down to around 35 or 40 for both you and the CPU. This effects how often you or the CPU will stay hot, the lower you go the harder it will be to consistently shoot around 50% from the field for an entire game(turn down defensive consistency same level to add realistic random defensive breakdowns or rotations like in real NBA).
This lowered consistency paired with higher offensive/defensive awareness will alow the CPU to continue to behave with a high basketball IQ but will lower their chances of being able to consistently hit shots. It adds random variance into the mix where they might hit some tough shots then sometimes they may go cold and miss shots they usually make like you see in actual NBA
I played against the warriors with these settings and it was a shootout at times, then during stretches of the game me or the CPU (sometimes both) would go cold and it would be a defensive grind-it-out slugfest for stretches.
I played 8min quarters and they shot 48% and I shot 46% for FG and they shot 41% from 3pt and I shot 38% from 3Pt (I was the nuggets who are an average shooting team), Final score was 89-81 they beat me but I didn't feel cheated because these little tweaks add in the random errors while keeping the players playing like NBA players who are smart but make random mistakes every now and then.Last edited by jxelite2430; 09-17-2016, 09:29 PM.Comment

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?
Superstar is ridiculous this year. 20 times worse than last year out of the box. I was talking trash about myself that I would master Superstar for PNO but man, I lost every game but 1 (ironically my first game was Team USA vs Australia and I barely won but had some clutch plays). I am sticking with All-Star until I am good enough to say I can switch to Superstar. I might not even switch. I might just stay on All-Star permanently. It's the best difficulty. You still have a challenge but it's not too easy. It's great. Superstar is so bad that D and F 3-point shooters are lighting me up. CPU never misses especially at the basket and open from 3.
This guy: Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot is a D grade on 3-pointers okay and he lit me up. I have been playing 30 to 1 team ranking for 2 years now by playing with the worst team to the best team and I was the Nets. I lost by 40 and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot was 5-5 on 3s. D and F grades shooting lights out? I lost all my games I played last night until I changed to All-Star and I won 2 games in a row lol. Playing on All-Star all day today and I am winning more but still losing. Superstar can kiss my ***. I will never play on HOF ever. PNO is against humans, so I'm not worried about Superstar. Shooting is the best its ever been, so there's nothing to adjust to with that. Staying on All-Star unless/until I am elite enough to switch to Superstar.
Forgot to mention: I made adjustments, used ACE, played elite defense, etc etc. I wasn't going to stop the cheese. I was actually beating the **** out of HOU with OKC but they came back and beat me by 30 and I was pissed. I thought I played one of my better games on Superstar.Last edited by Hellquist; 09-17-2016, 09:32 PM.Comment

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?
How is Superstar difficulty on My Player? I know that we don't have the option to edit any sliders in My Player but are the stats in the games realistic on that difficulty?Comment

Re: What Difficulty Level Are You On?
The end of game stats end up looking alright, but while you're on the floor the shooting percentages are still too high. It's especially frustrating in that mode since the CPU doesn't always play the best defense on your team. That's why it would be better if 2K makes an adjustment in their end so that MyPlayer, online modes, etc have better percentages.Comment
