Completely agree. I'll go further and say I'd rather have a CPU guard most times instead of the bums I play with. But if you have a Center CPU, he'll get dominated

Made a 6'4 200 pound shot creating (Primary) playmaker (Secondary)

I hope I do not regret this..........

The AF is awesome or the rebounding defender?

Thought I'd go two way post, but yeah unless I play with people I know, which is becoming more difficult or yell enough, I end up being a nerfed GC.

Thinking about the rebounding rim protector or pure glass at this point.

        Thanks.

After reading all the PG can't dunk and layups being **** even more so than last year, do you think a Shot Creator / Playmaker would be a waste? Should I go Playmaker / 3pt or something?

Played some team-up games with friends and I just realized it's not in my DNA to shoot much. I just try to feed everybody else. The whole shot creator thing looked cute but it's probably just best for me to pick a player that aligns most with how I usually end up playing.

This is why I was so happy to see a big archetype with dimer on it. I picked post scorer last year and went max Hieght and weight and realized that I really loved being able to guard on the perimeter AND the post. My guy last year was so bad on the wing I literally couldn't play park with him

2k17 has spoiled what an actual good shooting percentage is for the 3. I'll shoot 40-45% from 3 in a game and be like damn I shot horrible

I heard around 75-120 shots from each zone at over 40%, which is a crazy amount. I wish they'd get rid of hotzones all together, or at least not have MyCareer link to them online. Apparently there is a glitch on youtube, although I have not tried it, therefore can't confirm that it works.

So, after 5 days of testing, My 6'4 SG Playmaking Slasher is everything I wanted.

I can get to the rack, Snag boards. Mid to high 60s in 3 means I can at least hit them. Low 70s in mid.

But essentially I dunk on people and pass. It's opened up the drive/kick with silver Dimer. I get Flashy passers, Which Is Fine since thats What I Typically throw.

But the cherry on top: I get Silver putback king. Oh my god it's like 2k studied my slasher last year and made it an archetype.

Here's a great link for side by side build comparisons. http://news.nba2kwishlist.com/nba2kmyplayer-builder/

Id personally go Shot Creator primary Sharp secondary outta all the builds you mentioned

*** ****, this is kind of what I wish I went with. My SC/PM is plenty good, but I discovered it can hit 3s at a really high rate (A 2k rate, if you get what I'm saying) But this dude is soft as Charmin Ultra Soft when attacking the lane, which is something I realized I tend to do more of rather than take pull ups.

I'm actually okay with them nerfing dunking for non-slasher types though, but but it's definitely something I'll have to get used to. Going to have to use tear dropper much more.

I could tell as soon as I got posterizer. One bronze I dunked way more. On silver non defensive big either need to have perfect defense or GTFO. I'm scared of Gold. Because I'm throwing down in traffic now, so if they "fix" dunks and I tack on gold. Yikes.

I made him him figuring I'd lose some dunk vs. Gain speed. But since 2k's poster algorithm factors in speed and weight, it actually helped. Putbacks are super easy this year, and I can green threes from time to time (although I shouldn't really pull them outside of keeping defenders honest).

Dropped 31/6/7 in pro am at PG last night. That was with me not really trying to score except when needed. The guy I was guarding had no idea what to do, and if I blew by getting a 1 on 1 with the help D in the paint I just went over them.

This isn't even broken. It's just that it fits my exact skill set to a tee and amplifies all of it.

Do you get any post scoring badges?

One thing I did not expect with my SC/PM build is that they got the up/under and post spin badges. That delighted me so much because I really wanted a wing player who could go down there and dance in a mismatch, and it looks like we aren't going to have an elite post game, but it'll be sufficient to pull off the moves I want to down there. I was really going for an older Dwyane Wade build and I think I got it. Last night I would catch the ball in the low post and spin off people, felt sexy.

Yours is probably more young Wade!

Also, I'm envious you got all those rebounds. My dude doesn't pull too many but that's my big men are gobbling them up.

Also, I get 3 gold badges...tear dropper, ankle breaker, mid-range dead eye. Does anyone have a clue what the other 3 would be? I heard it's free throw ace and some other non-sense...I really hope not. Sounds like silver dimer is a sure thing though, kind of blows.

Probably because you're good and others are upset that buckets aren't given to them.

No offense to others but it's a common trend when I read some of those threads.

The skill gap exists. I restarted and was on Park last night with a 62 overall guy and still did as well as when I had low 70's (haven't bought VC yet).

I'm not trying to gloat but I just think others aren't very good and blame it on the game and not themselves.
