Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Here's a great link for side by side build comparisons. http://news.nba2kwishlist.com/nba2kmyplayer-builder/
Id personally go Shot Creator primary Sharp secondary outta all the builds you mentioned

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
*** ****, this is kind of what I wish I went with. My SC/PM is plenty good, but I discovered it can hit 3s at a really high rate (A 2k rate, if you get what I'm saying) But this dude is soft as Charmin Ultra Soft when attacking the lane, which is something I realized I tend to do more of rather than take pull ups.
I'm actually okay with them nerfing dunking for non-slasher types though, but but it's definitely something I'll have to get used to. Going to have to use tear dropper much more.

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
i have 88ovr 6'8 shot creating slasher 240lbs & he feels a little slow in a straight line dash down the court but in a half court setting i can bully past most matchups by getting a step (which i assume is from decent strength) In hind sight i probably would have gone 230 for a bit more straight away speed but its spilled milk at this pointComment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Probably feels like that because the 3pt side of things probably slowing you down a little bit since they are the most unathletic class in the game. I have a question though what does your mid and 3 go to?Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
A little late to the party here, but looking for some guidance.
I had a 97 overall 6'8 (maybe 6'9) PF Point Forward last year. Highest Wingspan, lowest weight possible.
I had 94 Speed With Ball, all the HOF passing/dribbling badges.
Looking to recreate something similar.
Has anyone tried any of the following with a PF
Passing & Dribbling / Passing & Dribbling
Passing & Dribbling / Defender
Passing & Dribbling / Slasher
Passing & Dribbling / Shot Creator
Passing & Dribbling / 3PT
Any tips on an ideal build would be greatly appreciated, I'm essentially looking for an athletic SF/PF that can be a facilitator, let's say Ben Simmons for example.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
I'm really bent on the type of player to create this year. Anyone have any input? I usually stay in the PG, SG or SF realm and like being there, just can't decide this year.
I kind of want to make a Brandon Ingram type player, an OJ Mayo type player or a Kyrie type of player. Thoughts?
I feel like SG might give me the best opportunity to play right away because it's a position lacking for many teams. But I do like SF builds and I do like having the ball in my hands a lot.Comment

Ask yourself questions: "What do I do?" "What do I excel at?" "What do I do b if option A doesn't work?" And base it around your own skillset.

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
So, after 5 days of testing, My 6'4 SG Playmaking Slasher is everything I wanted.
I can get to the rack, Snag boards. Mid to high 60s in 3 means I can at least hit them. Low 70s in mid.
But essentially I dunk on people and pass. It's opened up the drive/kick with silver Dimer. I get Flashy passers, Which Is Fine since thats What I Typically throw.
But the cherry on top: I get Silver putback king. Oh my god it's like 2k studied my slasher last year and made it an archetype.

Also, how's the midrange shot?Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Honest to god, the best advice on this was given out by Mike Wang and Zach Timmerman: "Make something that suits YOUR style. Don't try to crunch numbers or force yourself into a role."
Ask yourself questions: "What do I do?" "What do I excel at?" "What do I do b if option A doesn't work?" And base it around your own skillset.

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
He's 6'4, SG, Slashing PRIMARY, Playmaking Secondary. Won't hit 86 ball control until my last upgrade, but still fast. Not sure on weight off memory. Upped wingspan 1, lowered weight 1 I think(it was prelude). I didn't mess with the wingspan stuff too much.
