Sounds like you want sharpshooting shot creator. At 6’ 6” 210 I’m sure you’ll be one of the heavier guards in most playground games you play but he should go in in the paint VS smaller guards

Thanks, actually I probably won't be playing against other people unless it's something you have to do in this years version? I just usually play myself through the career mode.

Pretty happy with my playmaking shotcreator. Can do pretty much everything I want as it fits my playstyle. At the moment I'm just grinding badges through mycareer. Trying to get difficult shots at least to gold and midrange deadeye to silver (you have to do a looot of drills for the latter). I'm 6'4 btw.

How far do you guys think badges go this year? As far as HOF compared to gold. That perspective is what's keeping me from going playmaker/slasher, slasher/shot creator, or shot creator/slasher.

I'm trying to find the build that would be good at pro am more than park. Point guard.

Can't say I'm not loving this Shot Creator/Sharp build. Only a 72 but I just had my breakout game with the Knicks. 22 points, 11 points in the 4th against CP3 and the Rockets.

This build is a foul machine too. I basically live at the free throw line all game.

I also love the badge grind. I have Mid-Range Deadeye, Difficult Shots, Tireless Scorer, Dimer, Pick and Roll Maestro, Ankle Breaker all on Bronze. I'm also about to unlock Relentless Finisher, Defensive Stopper and Free Throw Ace. Right now I'm working on getting Difficult Shots to Gold since you get an easy 2000+ points for doing that drill. Once I get my shooting ratings to around a 75 I'll be working on my shooting badges.

The dual archetypes allows for so much experimentation but man it sucks. You don't wanna grind one and then switch. I feel like I'm past the point of no return

I think that’s why Mike Wang encouraged people to forget outsides factors and make the build they know they can play with. I think 2k17 was so unbalanced it became the year of making a build just to win. This game is really good so you can win with any build this year


I can see the variety when I play VS bigs

The builds vary so much. Slashing post scorer and athletic rebounders seem to be favorites but Iv seen every build so far.


Surprisingly enough the only build Iv only seen once is playmaking post scorer and for the life of me Idk why. That build was OP before 2k deleted it. Not too many ppl realize the value of gold dimer on a big

Yeah it's crazy to me when these bigs are showing stats with 20+ points a game in pro am walk on. I couldn't get those numbers unless I carried the ball up the court on every defensive board. I score pretty much all my points off offensive boards. Even when I do find someone who will pass me the ball, there's usually 4 guys sitting under the hoop so all I can do is a post fade.

That's because once the ball goes to a big in Pro Am/Walk On, you can forget getting it back. 95% of bigs completely forget they have a pass button in the halfcourt, and will literally try to go up on 3, 4, or 5 people.
