To be fair a lot of guards aren't passing to bigs(or at all for that matter). The bigs are getting theirs off rebounds

yeah....there are so many guards/wings that don't want to pass at ALL....there are like 3 TRUE point guards for every 300 kids that want to just dribble/dunk and shoot ....you also do have a ton of bigs that like to just post up in the paint and either force contested shots or get 3 seconds in the key.....ughhh

The reason for that is self evident, dude. The big doesn't pass the ball back because they're itching to actually play offence when they finally get the ball on something other than an offensive rebound. I don't deny that there are bigs without a scrap of playmaking but I honestly feel like most backcourts exacerbate the problem by never feeding them. I finished my first 3 walk on games with a combined 10 field goal attempts.

That doesn't mean try to go up on the entire defense every time you touch it. I've literally had to call timeout on bigs after watching this:

            *Big gets the ball*
*Posts up with 4 other defenders collapsing*
            *Goes up*
            CLANK
            *Other big rebounds*
            *Goes up*
            CLANK
            *First big rebounds it*
            *Pumpfakes, goes up*
            CLANK
(Meanwhile, there's three of us guards literally butt-naked open in the corners and/or wings)
            *Other big rebounds*
            *Pumfakes, goes up*
            CLANK
            "TIMEOUT"

Yeah, I don't care HOW thirsty you are to play offense. Pass that darn ball out of there, as it's obvious you can't score.

That MyLeague glitch literally saved me hours upon hours of grinding.

Made about 50k VC last night and got my Shot Creating/Sharp from a 72 to a 78. Maxed out my midrange, layups, dunks and ballhandling.

Like I said before this build is a foul machine. I had a breakout game where I put up 29 points but I shot 15 free throws that game (shot 16 free throws the game before). And this was before I even had a jumpshot. Right now my mid-range is a 96 so I can't wait to test it out next game.

it's sad but there are very few true point guards in the pro-am...nobody wants to push/swing the ball

You and everyone else can make as many excuses as you want. We've all seen terrible play by guards, but I've seen literally just as much terrible play by bigs who, believe it or not, are JUST as guilty of ballhogging.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've seen bigs:

                      - Rebound and call themselves trying to take it coast-to-coast (which makes you look like a complete a-hole, and will make guards not pass anything to you)
                      - Become a black hole as soon as they touch it (provided an example above)
                      - Become completely oblivious to the fact that most guards will abandon their assignments just to run down and attempt a strip on a posting big, then complain about it without ever thinking to PASS IT BACK OUT WHEN YOU SEE SOMEONE'S MAN RUNNING AT YOU
                      - Have absolutely no idea how to post up on the low block instead of setting up camp in the middle of the freakin' paint, and NOT moving whatsoever, which results in about 10 3-in-the-key calls during the game
                      - Have no idea that you can't just back every single person down until they're underneath the basket for a big man contact dunk
                      - Think they can get the ball and continuously go up on an entire team, INCLUDING OTHER BIGS, only to clank or get blocked multiple times, without ever learning to change their tactics

                      And the list goes on.

not really excuses...there are jagoff guards and jagoff bigs...your POV is skewed because you are a guard(i'm guessing?) and ours could be a bit skewed because we're bigs...i know everything you speak of and i'm not one of those bigs so i'm not worried...but, i see them all the time...i kick it back out all the time on o-boards....i have MAYBE 1-2 three seconds called on me every 20-30 games if that....i only handle the ball if i don't trust the wings or i'm stuck with comps...however, i'm comfortable saying that you will find FAR more bigs just playing their role in a drop-in than you will wing players....most drop-in guards really just want to dribble/dunk/jack and only pass as a last resort...as the guys who primarily control the ball and are supposed to control the ball i'm willing to place a little more blame on the tunnel vision/low iq guards....as good as Shaq and Kareem were you need a guard who's willing to give you the ball in your spots

It's not that my view is skewed, as I play guard, wing, and big (when moved to the 4 or 5, which is more often than not) and I've seen it all, and know that an equal amount of accountability can be held on both sides.

If a big only touches the ball on rebounds, I can kind of see that creeping in. However, when you do have guards (myself, for instance) that are willing to throw it down when you have good positioning, that doesn't mean disable your pass button, especially when opposing guards become braindead and run off their man, leaving a wide open shooter on the perimeter. That's the point I'm getting at.

I average double digit assists for both walk on and team pro am. I know what pace, space, swinging the ball, etc. looks like and I do it.

Think I've changed my mind, was going with a sharpshooting shot creator but think i'm going to go with a Slashing Shot Creator, I think I would like either so going to roll with it.
