Chuck to me wasn't a post scorer/shot creator. Chuck mostly got his points off of a offensive rebounds and scoring on the fastbreak. His post game basically was just backing people down and doing a post spin or a dropstep. He was just decent shooter.

Chuck was like Shaq at 6'5 or 6'6.

I made Chuck last year as Hustle Rebounder and he was super fun, could play defense, grab boards, could bully guards and guard guards on the perimeter.

This year, the penalty for creating a 6'6 maxed wingspan 245 pounds PF is too extreme.

Yeah, he can rebound, and run on the break, but scoring on the inside isn't strong enough to make up for the lack of shooting.

Sticking with my 7'3 pure athletic C for now.

He is unstoppable on offense. god forbid you are less than 7'1 being matched up against me. Pen me in for easy 40 pts on 80% shooting.

I may give up 25 or 30 to you but its fun banging on people lol.

STILL HAVENT ran into A PURE LOCKDOWN CENTER so can't comment if they can stop me but i would assume so.

Also 2v2 on park is just unfair with this guy.

im semi torn between my 2 builds. my 1st & nearest to my heart is my 88ovr shot creating Slasher & my 87 ovr playmaking shot creator. stats wise the edge goes to my Shot Creator, but my Slasher bangs on everything & anyone.

My play-style is more inside - out.

The slasher allows me to slash effectively but the passing is not too great. Middies are pretty consistent. Can green open 3's sometimes. CATCHES BODIES

Shot creator is more versatile cuz i can facilitate on offense as well as stretch the floor a bit when necessary but as of now isnt a reliable finisher & doesnt get contact dunk animations. I think layups will be consistent when i max my guy based on ratings ive seen on Youtube

...typing this all out made me realize that doing the contact dunk glitch on my shot-creator might solve all my problems...hypothetically

Still can't decide on either a 6'4" SG/6'8" SF Slashing Shot Creator OR a 6'8" Shot Creating Playmaker SF.

Leaning towards the first build (can't decide on position, though). This is always the worst part about MyPlayer. So tough to decide on a build.

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?

I see the big selfishness vs. Guard selfishness discussion and think it goes both ways. I run a small 2 guard, but I find myself running point a lot.

A lot of guards don't understand their job, just like a lot of big players don't understand theirs. People jump on the mic with "gimme the ball, I'm open", but they cannot see the play developing as they say that. Then they tell you that you missed them.

I find it hard to get going offensively because people can't...no, that's wrong...refuse to pay attention to the floor outside of themselves. They cut off their own lanes, or other's lanes. They bring unnecessary help Defense because as soon as I'm "bodied up" I need 3 screens, which traps me in a triple team and guarantees a turn over. This is everybody.

It's funny. The offense stagnates so easily off dumb play. You can easily tell who's there for a W, and who's there just to "get buckets".

Sorry, lot of poor games last night where I'm almost a double double in points and assists, but everyone else is at a C- grade

                nicely said.

I give dudes 2 quarters or 5 chances to show me if they are here to play team ball or they are here to get buckets. If you decide to be selfish then rest assured I will freeze you out and tell my friend (who i always play with) to do the same.

lol this is the worst. You see a center setting a screen on the left side and then a PG comes over and sets one on the same side, pretty much saying to your teammate "Nah he's going to run through ME bitch!!!"

what game modes do you play? who do you want to guard/guarding you?

I tend to make a SF every 2k ~6'8 ...im a big man at heart but 2k bigs are too slow for me. Im also 6'7 & some change IRL

at SF i alway feel like i can play 1-(4)5 and finally my fav player is Lebron so theres that too

I play MyCareer the most and wander into the Park a bit.

I typically make a volume scoring mid-range player (either SG or SF), which has gotten boring in recent years and I'd like to make someone who attacks more. I'd like to create someone more along the lines of DWade, Wiggins, or maybe Ingram this year.

I feel like making a Wade-esque SG provides more opportunity, as more teams have holes at SG, but I feel like having that extra height is beneficial at times and it could be fun to try a position that has a lot of opposing talent.

                        Fellow Pure Sharpshoters,

What is your badge upgrade strategy? I started by getting all of my primary badges up to silver. After that I upgraded Limitless Range to gold.

I'm tempted to keep pushing for Limitless HoF, since that seems like such as signature skill for a sharp.

Deep-Range Deadeye is a real grind. It will take me a long time to get that up to gold.

What is the most effective center archetype for MyPark/walk-on ProAm?

I previously had a 87 Rebounding Post Scorer who was pretty fun to play in single player, but as we all know Post Scorers in the park don't get the ball from randoms. Even when they do, the spacing is horrible.

I'm almost glad he got deleted, so I can remake him into something useful.

Right now I am thinking 7'2 300 lb Pure Rebounder, Defensive Rebounder, or Rebounding Defender. Alternatively I also considered a Pure Athletic Finisher to help keep up on the perimeter. Any thoughts?

6'7 - 6'8 SG sounds like the best of both worlds for you

I think it really depends. Most would probably say athletic finisher/reb but the hardest ones to guard at least for me are actually the 7'1 7'2 slash/sharp combo.
