Especially because we can't see what attribute number we'll get until AFTER we spend the VC.

I'm gonna make 8 players with different builds, try and find out the their caps without spending VC and then delete the ones that don't feel good and maybe keep 3 in rotation throughout the year round, so I don't have to start to stary scratch every time.

But I'll definitely have one as my main probably my SF

We don't know secondary badges and their caps either.


Almost impossible to decide atm if you are considering different builds.

I'm sure there's going to be somebody out there (Maybe the 2k lab folk) who is able to put out everything ahead of time, like what your caps/badges are depending on wingspan/height/weight/archetype/etc.

Although that will be even more tedious than it was last year, and we should not have to rely on the community for this info (How many times have we said that?). Those are the people who deserve donations.

I'm really thrilled they added badge progress and whatnot, and you can level up playing online. Both things we really wanted and they gave us!

But this "We give you but take away this" thing they've had going on...is just totally bizarre.

I'm thinking PF to get more mismatches now that strength matters.

Somebody with the game early is live streaming . He is a primary slasher , secondary sharpshooter SG. I saw some of his secondary badges which included : glue hands , freethrow ace , ankle breaker , and defensive stopper .

Every build gets defensive stopper bronze ? Is it a big jump between silver and bronze?

Wutt? Anklebreaker for a slasher sharp combo? That's... That's... I dont know.

I can say that if you haven't had at least bronze Def stopper, the chance to get your ankles broken was much higher. Much more higher.

I went with a 6'6 199lbs Shot Creating Playmaking PG. Playmaker primary, Shot creator secondary.

I like the feel of it so far. Played 5 games so far (3 playground, 2 tryouts) and have done well, the combination of ball handling and being able to shoot is a great time. Reminds me of an almost slight upgrade over the playmaker prior to the last patch in 2K17.

I guess that bronze badge will downgrade the offensive badges by one level, while silver by two.

Can it be understood in the video which secondary badges get gold, which silver, which bronze?

I been looking at different spread sheets and all that and I'ma go with shot creator/post scorer...

I think it works best with how I play which is a good mid range game and only taking open 3s, but really just trying to get in the paint and bully smaller guys with fades and stuff.

Now hopefully I'm not too slow but I'll just have to live with that at this point.

Do you think a LDD SG will be better than a LDD SF? My reasoning for the SG is because the defensive stopper badge can hurt opposing PG and that is more valuable than a SF stopping the badges of a PF.

Whoa what? That's crazy. That can't be right. If defense isn't either archetype no way should somebody have a defensive badge of any kind.
