    Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?

Just in case anyone wanted to know how HOF up and under works it seems that the only differences are quicker animations, of course a larger window for getting greens on timing, and it seems like it works a lot more with contact close to the rim. A lot are still going in even when dudes have their hands up and contest me

That’s a combo of relentless finisher and HOF up and under tho

Oh yeah and getting blocked when guys are on the way down have virtually stopped. I played a lot yesterday and i was only blocked in that way when i tried pump faking in a crowd of 2 ppl.

Haven’t been blocked much one on one while doing up and unders

If you're a 75+ rated ball handler, I'll give you my move. I'm tired of seeing people over dribble. If you want the best 1-2 dribble combo this year here you go:

I don't view this move as cheese, and it can be done very simply. You don't NEED the 86 ball control for this to be effective, but in any game mode I will give you a 99% blowby animation. No, this is not a hip ride trigger, this can even make your man stumble. This is pure first step in its essence.

At a stand still, trigger rhythm dribble Pro 8 long enough to switch ball hand and turbo cross immediately. Don't even let him get into his animation, you literally "killer cross" immediately after switching your ball hand.

With any player with ball control at 75 you can perform this offline and break the Cpu instantly. It's better if you reject the screen to create a 1 on 1 at the rim if using a slasher. If using a shooter, performing this move into a step back will be the best move you do all year.

I think it's funny to me because all my friends say they're "saucy" and yeah they can sometimes cook me. But nobody can guard me with this move.

So I just made a PG, 6’4, 225, primary: Shot Creating, secondary: slasher.

I wanted someone who can hit any open shot, hit moving shots, finish at the rim, and get the occasional contact finish. My friends run park and have a two way sharp sf, and two way rebounding C, so I think it fits.

Just wanted to see your opinions before I start sinking VC into it.

My SG is pretty much the same build and it's my favorite player to use

Just know that if you want that 86 ball control that you won't be getting it anytime soon lol. But your ball handling is fine enough. I just wish my player had better pass accuracy

The guys I run with allow me to play point with mine and if you play with shooters and have space it's very deadly

Got bored and made random archetypes:

6'10" Playmaking Defender SF/PF meant to play like Giannis (Max Wingspan, 225 lbs)
6'5" Playmaking Sharpshooter PG/SG meant to play like Harden (Default Wingspan, 215lbs)
7'0" Slashing Stretch C meant to play like Embiid (Default Wingspan, 245 lbs)

On my 6ft6 SG Sharpshooting Slasher (Primary) the 75 ball control cap was finally unlocked at 89 overall.

Have the same build at 200lb. It's my 91, and he's so OP I don't like running on him that much. Lol I feel like a Chuck since I can pull every shot, so I do. It's not like I make everything, but I make a lot of them so I literally have no conscious shooting the ball. Lol whereas, all my other characters are specified. I have to be more careful and therefore I'm much more controlled. But it's definitely fun, I just wish he finished better. Where that extra 25lbs may help you.

Does Glue Hands help with overall catching the ball?
I know it says crazy catches. But most of turnovers I commit are when I cant completely catch a pass. I'm at the half way mark to bronze. But i don't get too many chances at 50/50 plays.
I have Quick Reflexes at Bronze and near Silver. I know I can use Reaction tests to raise it. So I will focus on getting that to Silver before next game

So my friend wanted to try a SF, Play Maker/Slasher and then he realised he had to spend another $40 to boost him to 85... I mean I don't get how does 2K get away with it... You have to pay another full price game just to be competitive... And dont give me the "you dont have to buy VC" when you are 60 overall and you have to play with others...

Yeah it's ridiculous how you basically are limited to one MAYBE two players in terms of actually being able to play with them competitively. They give you 10 slots, but the amount of time it takes to grind compared to the price ($500~) is absolutely insane.

At this point in the cycle, I have one player that I primarily play with (Playmaking Slasher) and I've grinded him from the jump to a 91 overall. He's basically my money maker for my other builds because I'm done upgrading him/caring about upgrading him. Whenever that endorsement check comes, it goes straight to my other builds.

But 2K gets away with it because they know people will spend money on it, especially once they find out that a build is basically terrible.

Thats why I hesitant to creating a new one. It will take a while for him to competitive. I used myNBA2k to hoard VC for my current player. I'm not trying to buy VC. Once i get my player to 91, i can save up VC for next player. I don't carw about any of the perks past 91 any way

If you get your first guy up to 95 you start getting double VC and pretty good endorsements, and by that time you're basically done spending on upgrades. I know it's a grind, but it's the best way to get VC

I JUST got a 93. It's going to take several months to get to a 95...and by that time, 2k19 info will already be out. lol

95 seems tempting. But yeah, not sure I will grind that long. I'm at 88, i just want to get to 91. That seems like that will take a while. But even with Cap Breakers, it won't make a big difference in the way how I play. So 91 is good enough for me

Getting to 92 itself takes long enough. I'm good with 92, you get that extra bar of stamina
