3 / D defensive stopper is silver . D and 3 defensive stopper is gold.

To be honest man my homie has a D and 3 PF . The build is underrated and I prefer it over 3/D . Yes his three only maxes around 75-78 but with catch / shoot silver and corner specialist silver dude does not miss.

Thank you kind sir for your reply but what is "12-16" ? Isnt it measured in 0-100 rating?

I have narrowed it down to Ball Handling-3ppoint and pure 3point...
The first one will have speed boost and elite dribble skills but the second one is more fun and it has 4 HoF badges. although its by far the weakest build for PG stats wise...

That's based off of 25 max caps. so if you multiply it by 4 (to get to your 100 rating based system instead) 12-16 = a 48-64 range

I've noticed that their is a much bigger gap between badge levels than last year. When my 6'11 Pure Rim Protector had Gold Defensive Stopper, Silver Rim Protector and Silver Chasedown Artist going for blocks got called a foul very often, i was also getting dunked on by 7'2/7'3 bigs alot. Now i have HOF Defensive Stopper, Gold Rim Protector and Gold Rim Protector i'm getting a lot more blocks and a lot less fouls, also i only get dunked on by 7'2/7'3 bigs if they have inside position. In walkon i was matched up with a 7'2 Pure Glass Cleaner who tried to backdown-dropstep-dunk a lot, he went 1/6 when he tried this and for the game he shot 5/15.

Question: What's your speed on this guy?

I'm considering making a 6'8 PF pure defender because I believe he can get 83 speed, 83 lateral quickness, 83 accelleration and 86ish vertical.

I've heard that with pure PF defenders, every added inch deducts 5 overall in the speed/lat/accel stats. Is you're 6'11 guy, roughly, around 70 in speed?

If those speed stats I listed are true, I literally think I could create a 6'8 PF that could defend essentially anyone, he'd be quick enough, would have amazing defensive badges as well

I want to create sg def+def. Is it worth trying? Best height? Does pick dodger work?

You would get HOF badges in:
defensive stopper
pick pocket
pick dodger
charge card

and 5 other gold badges

I'm kinda feeling like making a Post Scorer was pointless for online play. It's rare anyone will actually feed me in the post. No one wants to pass me the ball unless I'm cutting to the basket. The odd time I get it in the post, either everyone rushes in to spam steals on me or my teammates rush into the paint so I can't do anything anyways.

It's not as effective with random teammates, that's for sure.

I love the post game more than anyone lol but unless you're playing with your own squad, it's not ideal.

thanks but these are predictions that are off on most cases.

I'm hoping someone can create accurate ones sometime soon. Also, seeing secondary badges would be nice lol.

As a 6"10" Shot creating Post Scorer I can attest to this. It's great for offline though.
Also, protip if you want more than 3 dribble packages don't go 6"10" for your wings.

Oh yeah I was unstoppable offline. Just wish there it was better utilized online. Oh well. Live and learn.

I've been playing around with archetypes before I actually buy VC and go full tilt on one.

I did a 7'1 Two-Way Athletic Finisher and I'm getting sick of it. THe AI on O is really bad with the pick and roll so it makes my skill pointless.

I kinda wanna stay with a big man, anyone have any suggestions on whats been the best for their big men? Are post-scorers primary defense secondary too slow? That was my concern and why I picked slashing defense to begin with.

I do like to play defense, but if you guys dont think it's an archetype that's needed to play defense adaequatly let me know.

I also tried some guards like sharpshooting shot creator, but none seem to be for me. I might do a PG with primary playmakin primary - suggestions on a good secondary? I like to dish, but I think having a shot would be helpful so maybe 3 point?

Anyone here with a power forward/center with sharpshooting as secondary in their build that can tell me if there is any of the badges limitless range, catch & shoot and corner specialist that only go to bronze and not silver?

Do you know which badges are the gold badges on the pure? I'm guessing rim protector, bruiser and im not sure about the other 3. Pure defender is something I would make. I'm currently playing with a slashing defender archetype and gold defensive stopper and amazing athleticism allows me to cause a lot of chaos and I'm sure the pure is on a whole nother level!

I just made a Defender+Playmaking SF that is 6'6 220 so I can get the Rim Protector Badge...that you don't get at SG...

But my only issue is now I am a SF/PF....not a SF/SG....on the Witness Gaming video the 6'8 228 is SF/SG...I am assuming that changes when you level up the build?

Happened to my SF. I was a SF/ PF until I leveled up in the mid 80s. Now I’m a SF/SG .
