Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Okay, so I've had a lot of time to get used to my SG Pure Shot Creator. And dude, when teammates aren't swarming around mindlessly with their defenders in my way, I'm absolutely torturing my opponents. Most fun I've had so far.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Something significant recently realised about total gold badges that your character gets. Free Throw Ace, Quick Reflex and Glue Hands goes to gold for ALL combos and get counted in total gold badges display. So basically when u consider your archetypes and pay attention to total gold badges then u have to discount 3 of them.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Was hoping to get some insight from some of the more seasoned myplayer guys here. I've played a ton of 2k in my days just always solo assocation/myleague.
Anyway I've settled on a SF shot creator primary playmaker secondary at 6'8". This gives a good all around offensive player as well as big man contact dunks and 86 ball handling being reachable for speed boost. I know that's kind of min maxing but as a primarily RPG player I can't help myself.
So what I really am looking for advice on is what to set the characters weight at. Through a little bit of testing the difference between min and max weight is obviously noticeable. For the archetype I feel like speed would be king generally but I'm unsure how that plays out in the actual game. I wish the data was out there that would show me the exact speed and strength ratings for different weights and I know before too long that will be available. I'd just like to get started down the right path without wasting VC.
Any help on this one?Comment

Yeah. 228 is the neutral weight but I'm curious if I should go even higher. Wish I knew the specifics of the speed and strength gains or losses for bumping up to say 250. Guess I can just be patient and wait a bit.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
i have 88ovr 6'8 shot creating slasher 240lbs & he feels a little slow in a straight line dash down the court but in a half court setting i can bully past most matchups by getting a step (which i assume is from decent strength) In hind sight i probably would have gone 230 for a bit more straight away speed but its spilled milk at this pointComment
