      Another argument for pure builds?

thx. I see very little difference between a 35 speed and 50 speed tbh.

Maybe for park ti helps but pro am is negligible.

Okay, so I've had a lot of time to get used to my SG Pure Shot Creator. And dude, when teammates aren't swarming around mindlessly with their defenders in my way, I'm absolutely torturing my opponents. Most fun I've had so far.

Im not sure this us entirely right. My Pure Rim Protector gets 4 Gold Badges, 2 of these are Bruiser and Putback King so one of the three you mentioned must be lower than Gold mqxed out.

You get 6 gold right ? I could be confusing it with a different position .

Yea i made him for park and in pro am he does alright. I like the lateral quickness and the length helps me stay in front of guards

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?

Was hoping to get some insight from some of the more seasoned myplayer guys here. I've played a ton of 2k in my days just always solo assocation/myleague.

Anyway I've settled on a SF shot creator primary playmaker secondary at 6'8". This gives a good all around offensive player as well as big man contact dunks and 86 ball handling being reachable for speed boost. I know that's kind of min maxing but as a primarily RPG player I can't help myself.

So what I really am looking for advice on is what to set the characters weight at. Through a little bit of testing the difference between min and max weight is obviously noticeable. For the archetype I feel like speed would be king generally but I'm unsure how that plays out in the actual game. I wish the data was out there that would show me the exact speed and strength ratings for different weights and I know before too long that will be available. I'd just like to get started down the right path without wasting VC.

                    Any help on this one?

i plan on making this build as my 2nd character in a few months and i was thinking 225-230lbs. originally i was thinking minimal weight but meh i think balance will serve me more in the long run. avoid those shove animations

i noticed this is pro-am...thought they would've changed it this year to make it more realistic....but, outside of occasionally being able to beat the guy up court for a quick dunk...there really is ZERO incentive to go smaller than 7"2-7"3 300+lbs because you aren't going to notice much if any of a speed advantage over those guys in the pro-am...i'm sure it will help if you get switched to a guard on the perimeter...but, you are going to put yourself at a disadvantage to the Shaq builds regardless if you are more skilled than the other guy....

Yeah. 228 is the neutral weight but I'm curious if I should go even higher. Wish I knew the specifics of the speed and strength gains or losses for bumping up to say 250. Guess I can just be patient and wait a bit.

messing with a 7"3 340 Post/Athletic.....this build might be absolutely dominant in the paint...not sure how it will defend but offensively there is crazy potential

i have 88ovr 6'8 shot creating slasher 240lbs & he feels a little slow in a straight line dash down the court but in a half court setting i can bully past most matchups by getting a step (which i assume is from decent strength) In hind sight i probably would have gone 230 for a bit more straight away speed but its spilled milk at this point

Anyone have feedback on a 6'8 light weight (I'm 210lbs) defender/3pt shooter. 88ovr and my dude feels clunky on defense.
