Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Anyone here make a 6'8 Sharpshooting Slasher? If so what do your Mid/3pt/Ball handling/Speed max out at? What badges do you get?Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Can anyone shed any light on how good/bad CPU teammates are in pro am? In 2k16 they were fine but last year they were just terrible. Trying to find a build to run with 2 of my boys but if cpu teammates are trash then we'll just stick to All star team up.Student of the game. #Fundamentals

Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Is it worth it to grind through the start of MyCareer on Superstar/Hall of Fame? Or better to just build up badges/ratings on Pro? I feel like my slashing/rim protector PF can be legit but with such low ratings he just feels sluggish.
I'd rather tough it out with my SG at this rate.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
7'1 280
Primary is driving.
Basically wanted to be an athletic pick and roll player. I'm shocked at how good both my post scoring and speed are. Secondary is obviously defense. If I could do it all over again I'm not sure I'd do defense secondary. I haven't been upgrading my D attributes as much and I feel like it's not hurting me.
In MyCareer games they play me at the 4 a lot so I move pretty well. It's helping on Park because of that.
I'm sure there are better builds but this one is very funComment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Probably post scoring to be honest but I'd have to look at how switching from defense to post scoring changes my speed and lateral quickness
Honestly my D stats aren't all that helpful. It's more about knowing how to play.
I still score pretty well on back downs and hooks for a low post scoring attribute but it could be better.
Given that I'm hearing the height doesn't really kill your speed I'd probably go 7'3.
I did 7'1 because I wanted to be like deandre Jordan type player on D. I got that for sure but with more offense than I was expecting.

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
i only played one walk on pro am game but the other team all quit so it was 3 of us vs 5 cpus. We couldnt win. They played the passing lanes like only cpu's can do and suddenly they hit every shot...im not exactly a pro am player tho im decent but dont have a team or anything. i personally think the spacing in walkon is a clusterf*** so take my review with a pinch of saltComment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
started out with a 7'2 post scorer shot creator! awesome, but somehow I think the level of ignorant people I can take is full. No one wants to pass you the ball besides on the pick and roll. Even playing with teammates you always end up being a deandre jordan type of player. Unlucky for me because I love this dude ( played a 7'1 post scorer in 17 too ) but I'm done.
Made a 6'10, actually 207cm size, so I get 76 handles shot creator sharpshooter SF with a few pounds under the standard weight. This guy is awesome, highly underrated build.
Awesome Badges, nice attributes, shooting and inside finishing. Still pretty fast, ball control doesn't mean as much as it meant in 2k17.
I will main this build and grind. He's not as good as KD, but imagine KD with 34 or 36 years. This will be his buildComment

I'm starting to feel like I would really enjoy an athletic finisher especially in the park. Pro Ams a cluster f of offensive minded players so I don't mind sitting back and taKing a more secondary role.Comment

I Have a def/ reb and I'm noticing the same thing. I just feel like if I have gold defensive stopper it will help my good defence negate bad offense thats being rewarded with badge boosts.

It's awesome on the park man. I'm the same on pro am. I try and play more "real basketball" and be the hustler going after rebounds and setting screens. Don't care so much about fancy stats there. I get a lot of offensive rebound buckets

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
So for my pass first guards out there, what are the good builds looking like? I want a PG/SG who qualifies for 90 ball control, so I can break down my opponents and draw help defense and make good passes or pull up for a middy or layup. Willing to give up some speed for size but not sure if I should go PG or SG, wingspans etc..Comment
