I decided to mess around and make a 6’6 235 lb SG Sharpshooting Shot Creator in order to get used to its mechanics from that weak *** Combine, and I gotta say that I’m really digging it so far. Maybe even more than my Pure SC. He plays almost exactly like my Pure, except much stronger, and the with the much needed Catch and Shoot, to where I’m no longer hesitant to pull 3s.

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Hey guys, thoughts on a big man build for playground 2v2's?
I mainly play with my buddy who is a 6'6 shot creating slasher.
I don't want to be too big, which would make me a liability on defence against smaller guys. Thinking maybe a big SF or PF build might be an option.Comment

All ima day is don’t worry about guarding guards if you looking for a 2s big man
So you’re gonna go big SF or small PF and get your cheeks ran by any good 7 foot 3 post scorer on the game.
Make your guy big and find a PG who switches on pick and rolls.
A good 2s build for a big who just holds his nuts is slashing rebound or rebounding athletic
If you actually tryna help your PG score then pure post or post scoring shot creator or slashing stretch 5 would be my pick

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
If you're going athletic at the 4 I'd recommend a pure. My 2 buddies who play mostly PF have 2 similar builds. One has a rebounding athletic 6'10 and the other pure athletic same height. While the former gets a few more rebounds and break starter silver, the latter gets Chase down silver and boy I'll tell you these guys are almost identical. Both of them will pull when open and while the rebounding has a better shot animation and takes more shots, seems the other is more efficient. If you're smart, you can hit with a 60 3 point rating if you boost.
I have a 7 foot post first, sharp second build and I should have just made a pure stretch. Yes, the bigs have to come out and guard me, but I don't feel like he just splashes. If someone has a high level dimer then he can be more dangerous, but the silver catch and shoot badge doesn't seem to do much.Comment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
Slightly off topic, but surely I'm not the only person who wants to strangle your imaginary teammates when you're just trying to get an 11 point lead in the second half to sim out for 4 drills (cause I sure as hell ain't getting VC) and suddenly the other team gets BS buckets and Austin rivers on your team takes and misses every pull up three? All of this keeping the lead at 8 or 6 but never above 10.
Just a rantComment

Re: Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?
and I had a 9 point lead just now. just needed one stop and a bucket to get outta the second half ... and some fictional player just took a leaning 3 and swished it in. I heard the commentary say "He's not good from 3, defense sagged and he made them pay" I go to look at this dude's rating for threes....it's all in the low 60s.
GG
then I get the game back to an 8 point lead ... and coach subs me out
I come back in to a tie game at the end of the 3rd
why do I do this to myselfLast edited by ph33; 02-08-2018, 08:18 PM.Comment
