It depends, like I said its really situational. Usually if you go for the tip in you're already in good position to grab the board anyway. I use a sharpshooting rebounder at 6'11 PF on park and I could get it pretty consistently but most of the time I kick out for the open 3. For some reason the only time I see people attempt a putback its when they are nowhere near the paint flying in grabbing air, sometimes they would get the board but throw up a brick. I don't even count those as tip ins cause those will never go in. I really only do it if its a short bounce off the rim and Im already boxing the guy off the boards.

Yeah, gotta hold it. Also, I would definitely recommend put back king HOF. My buddy gets almost every kind of putvack to go. Whether it's a slam, or a layup he tends to almost ALWAYS make it.

Before I got the badge bronze I couldn’t even get the putback dunk/ tip in animation to activate . I just want the badge to help get those lol. Almost have it silver .

If I don’t dunk it or tip in I rather pass out instead of going back up .

The running putbacks are the best. Had my first standing with my athletic C last night with not even bronze. It's way more situational this year it seems. I had 2 all together last night running about 6 hours on 2 different characters. My Dirk build (post first, sharp second) got a putback slam in team after a miss and I predicted the bounce off the rim perfectly. I saw what angle the shot went up and anticipated the bounce and was moving at the perfect speed to catch and slam. He has bronze hustle and bronze putback.

My other dunk was standing on my 7' athletic C with no badges and I had position inside and the shot just came to my side. I Rose up with 2 hands and threw it down nasty.

Just gotta go for them, rock. They're there.

Its way more of a 50/50 with putback king on bronze but once you get it to silver you'll get more consistent. Its kinda op once you get used to it with the necessary badge level of course. Another thing to look out for its your player's height and vertical ratings. My 7'3 will almost never get any tip ins/put backs but my 6'11 guy would sky for it easily

I find that odd because I'm able to perform tip-ins without the badge

Oh, I do that about 15x before I actually DO get a put back, but once I get one it's glorious.

Then there's always the times when you're like "if I would have just regular jumped I definitely would have gotten that rebound". LMAO

Created a 7' pure athletic C and while he's much more fun to play with in walk on than my 7'3, it's just so hum drum playing career these days. There's so many cut scenes, I can't do it anymore. Lol they really need to do away with them or at least let us skip then because having multiple characters is the worst.

The other day I loaded MyCourt because I realized my dude was wearing generic shoes, and I wanted to change it.

I entered the room, and it didn't load a cutscene immediately. I felt a moment of relief.

So I went away to go make a sandwich and get a drink. Came back to my desk a few minutes later...and that analytics loser or whatever is sitting on the couch ranting about how nobody cares about what he does and doesn't value him. Something like that. The scene ended with something like "Well here's some mountain dew!" which was totally out of place given what was being talked about before.

I managed to leave my desk, make a sandwich, and eat half of it before the scene was over...and here I am thinking these advertisements were no more than a minute. Definitely not.

I have a 6'8 playmaking shot creator SG i like him but i wanted to try a sharpshooting shot creator 6'8 i made him but havent touch him yet. Is it worth it to invest time on him? I wonder if shooting badges on silver makes a big difference.

I've gone up against the shot first, sharp second guys and they can be a problem. But is this a KD build? Not at all. The thing about shot creators Vs sharps is I don't fear them the same. A shot Creator needs to understand that he can score from anywhere. I started running on my slashing shot Creator a bit last night and after changing my pull up I've used for years I started to get my game back. I was the leading scorer every game we played just by getting downcourt and scoring before the D set up. In a half court set, hit me on a wrap and in pulling from 3 or mid.
