Re: New CAP system
Agree fully with having as much customizable options as possible for offline Created Players. Many fans including myself like to replicate past seasons and having detailed CAPA options allows that. Use the WWE system and allow image import as wellComment

Re: New CAP system
Dear 2k,
I don't care if it takes a month or two to accomplish this, PLEASE find a way to patch the old CAP system back into the game! This would be the ultimate temporary fix.
Then for 2k19, please focus on implementing this https://youtu.be/d9KXRbbxRHQComment

Re: New CAP system
While we will not know for sure until someone has the final game in hands, if this turns out to be true, it will be a HUGE, huge let down.
I can see and understand how it certainly detracts from the inmmersion of all modes (myleague, mygm, mycareer, etc) except teamup, myteam and play now (and even those may not be safe if many players not currently scanned get signed and have to be later added to the game with this very restricted feature as default caps).
NBA2K is a franchise built and grow of off pillars such as customization, options and editability. To take an evident step back in one of those fronts, after the criticism that 2K14 suffered on that very same aspect, its not understandable or defendable at this point, even more if this stepback is like what seems to be a made decission of taking away an evidently more depth, user friendly and stablished feature for way less significant feature (I still dont see the visual improvement, honestly), is not like it was a bugged feature that needed to be taken away for a mode or gameplay to work (only thing that may justify its removal or stepback in my opinion).
I, however, do recognize VC/2K Devs/Producers as one of the most fan oriented game staffs in the business, if not the most. The dedication, features and decissions they mostly take with the game are on the right side IMHO, with just a few exceptions here and there (all online myleague related, gameplay updates and patches based on casuals feedback and "Create A" related features now more than ever).
Here is to hope for them to acknowledge these areas in need of work and better, for them to make a sound statement post release by trying to provide our needs and wants within the programmed patchs for this iteration (2K18).
One thing I do not condone is to take it personal against anyone, neither detract/demenish the job nor create unnecesary controversy specially not against the VC/2K staff members that yearly provide me with one of the 2 games I currently buy for sure, as their goods so evidently outweight their bads (yes this stepback is heavy but still doesnt prevent me from buying it).
Then again, it needs to be addressed.Last edited by ffaacc03; 09-08-2017, 09:58 PM.Comment

Re: New CAP system
You should really look into doing something like the WWE 2k games are doing with their import face feature.
Being able to use this feature on both PC and the Ap to take a Jpg to import said face into the game for a Caw (or in this case Cap).
Also consider adding things for players who didn't make it in. So you couldn't get Reggie in. Well you could put Reggie's jump shot in the game, Charles Barkleys on the court moves as well among others.
People want as many options as possible to make Created players look as realistic and close to to whoever it is we wanna make as possible.
I agree with this entire post!! Let us import tats as well. But if I can only ask for one thing it would be for the face sculpting to make a return along with the other features such as discolorations, marks on faces etc.Comment

Re: New CAP system
Fans would like to have all of the options for online MyPlayers in offline CAP: contact/alleyoop dunk animations, certain signature dunk packages (like Blake Griffin, Dominique etc), goggles, signature celebrations, tattoos and access to all of the dribble moves.
In the future (if possible), we would also like the WWE option of importing faces through uploaded pictures. Like so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49n1Ni-KYXA
That's basically it. Thanks for stopping by LDComment

Re: New CAP system
There is enough evidence to justify it.
We'll see what happens? Are you suggesting that by next Friday they would have miraculous snuck in face sculpting? Or are you just enjoying the role of devil's advocate when there is an overwhelming consensus on this?
