Can't even edit the rosters, we're not there yet.

In live we can't even edit the rosters or even make a player.
In 2k they removed the solid sculpting features for cap and while it has a cap, it's limited in options.

I do agree with the guy earlier in this thread that said he thinks the better cap options have been moved over to myplayer in a veiled attempt to boost more vc sales. So it seems no matter which game you buy, you're going to have to pick which bothers you less I guess.

If 2k didn't waste all of its resources on Neighborhood I bet they coulda delivered a deep CAP this year.

Well the thing is they make a lot of money from selling VC (which is needed in myplayer) unlike CAP/draft classes/my league which are offline modes that they don't benefit from once you've bought the game.

From a business standpoint I totally understand this. But from an ethical standpoint I just dont get it. I think its totally foul how they continue to abandon this portion of the community. Its like they just forgot that at one point MyCareer wasnt always around and Association was indeed the main mode in the game. You would think theyd be aware of much of a fan base they gained from that mode over the years & understand that lot of us simply were never able to adapt to the other modes. If they really appreciated their *core* audience, they would break their backs every year to make our experience as good as possible. And yes that includes delivering a robust CAP.

But youre right unfortunately everything revolves around the $$$ these days

2K has done a great job with improving their game. 2K18 really seems like it can be the total package, I hope they can make the CAP system better with a patch if it stands to be a let down as suspected.

Well first off, the neighborhood isn't even a "need".

I've never heard anybody ask for a neighborhood to be implemented into MyCareer, but i've heard tons of people asking for a better CAP system

LD don't know lol. Or he's probably just lying. It would be interesting to see the real in game CAP but I'm almost positive it will be the same as my player

Just because the Neighborhood will be played more, doesn't mean that the CAP system is any less important....Aside from how much CAPs mean to the MyLeague/Roster/Draft Class community, the whole Neighborhood and MyPlayer aspect, revolve around CAPs...it's completely irrational to assume that just because face scanning exists, nobody values creating a players from scratch anymore. Plus when you take into consideration that Create-A-Legend no longer exists, there's tons of people in the community always looking to create legends like MJ/Kobe/Iverson so they can start MyCareer's with them.

Yeah you didn't mention it, but it kinda seemed like that's what you implied....which is why I went ahead and explained why CAP is just important all around...my bad for jumping the gun...but I honestly don't understand why 2k wouldn't put much effort/resources into the focal point of all of those "popular modes"
