To play ProAm with my team do all 5 of us have to be there or can it be 3 or 4 of us.

2k please stop splitting us up in the team arena .takes forever just to get 5 guys in 1 arena. Same region.

I stopped playing 2k because of this. Spending 1 hour to play is stupid

After 240 games playing with randoms(no friends) playing with both a big and a wing player I feel I can experienced enough to talk about the current meta of Walk-On Pro-Am

It's basically SG's and C's trying to see who can get the most fast break possessions.

The average random is good at creating their shot, rebounding the ball and leaking out for fast breaks.
The average random is average to good at defensive rotations and playing physical in and around the rim.
The average random is average at shot selection(for their archetype), spacing the floor and guarding post players.
The average random is average to poor at passing the ball(Expected due to randomizer and not knowing each other's skillsets)

The average random big is good to Great
the average random wing is average.

If you are a big you want to be able to rebound and dunk in traffic
If you are a small you want to be able to have high ball control to defend against steal spam and high enough speed to leak out and defend.

you must be in elite tier of walk ons because all i see is ballhugging chucks who shoot 35% from the field and play no defense.

Yesterday we met one of the so called top team: "above the rim" or something like that, elite 6 with a record like 245-3

They played one of the ugliest basketball I have seen in pro am (and I saw a lot), basically just exploiting all the possible glitches.

Pretty sad when you realize that pro am allows a team like that be so successful

I have to say the mode is ok as of now

If you leave shooters open they’ll kill you. I used to be one for having 3pt% replicate real life but now I think differently. This is a VIDEO GAME. There has to be a level of accepted deviance from real life. I was the biggest supporter of guys not shooting better than 55% I’m wide open 3s. Now I say to yes you SHOULD hit MOST wide open 3s. I’m shooting 65% now and it’s because I know my release and I shoot good shots. Shooting DOES take skill. Normalizing percentages would admittedly take away from the skilled players.

When you guard shooters correctly they won’t hit, simple as that. If you guard shooters badly you SHOULD get destroyed

You act like this isn’t every game ever in today’s era of video gaming

Best are ppl who spam bull crap

You have a ceiling if you refuse to cheese bull trash

I refuse to cheese when I play games because it’s not fun so In every game I play I rank up to a certain level then end up not playing anymore because it gets too hard

I don't think that most of the people have issues shooters hitting wide open 3s with their feet set.

I have seen plenty of ridicolus moving 3s or lighty contested 3s going in, and they can be limited only if you play team and individual defense at elite level.

And honestly to me it takes less skill mastering your shooting release than mastering the post moves, or the dribble moves or defense.
