Question. Does boost work in team pro am? I used it for dunks and I got way more bodies. Used it for steals and got better results for that too.

I’ve just never seen a general consensus.

In 2k16 and 2k17 boost used to get consumed but not applied for the pro am games. 100% certain for 2k17 when tried it on 6'10 point forward who needed playmaking boost to reach 86+ ball control specific moves and with boost could only perform it in park or nba games but not at walk on/pro am.

And i hope they dont get applied for pro am, its ridiculous how much power to the character boosts add. Its way more boost to each category than "+5 ratings" at previous games, something like 6'10 fully boosted pure sharp is ultimate demigod (boost let it dunk at will on tight situation, do well on defense and run reasonably fast) .

I wish there was a hardcore pro am mode . No badges , more stamina drain , more charges , less FG%

you do have the option to adjust your camera.

next time your in a pro am/walk on right before you quit or finish a game switch to the 2k cam.

go into your my career and adjust your broadcast..it'll save to you user to when you're done the game. go back to walk on and switch to broadcast you'll have the adjusted camera.

If this works its a game changer for me.5

We had pro-am for what, 3 years now? Why dont we have playbooks we can use? Make adjustments from time-out? Choosing what offensive set to run from the SSOL offense to a triangle offense? Assign people in a zone so we can put our best defensive player up top?

Lol after a pro am game I returned alone into a glitched arena, was able to walk through walls and under the bleachers

Yea been noticing more contested layups fall more and 3’s also go in at a higher clip.

There’s a shot creator on my team who rarely misses now from 3.

Does anyone know if hot zones effect Pro AM at all? Also agree with previous poster! Pro AM should have reasonable features like playbooks, assign zones, etc. Also, make it accessible from the main menu! The Neighborhood is a waste of time it takes so much effort to get a squad of 5, invite people, get in the arena, etc. FIFA is so much better at this aspect and makes it a lot more playable

I would be happy just having same kind of practice mode for your pro-am team with 2k or broadcast cam

i really want to play a sharpshooting defender. i know there are different opinions about this archetype combination in general, but i'm quite confident on this.

my main focus is on defense and i want to be able to stretch with some catch&shooting 3's

now i can't decide between SG or SF

i assume it's easier to guard the 1-3 as a SG, than guarding 2-4 (including a lot of posterizers and big PFs) with a SF, thoughts?

on the other way the sharpshooting SF got more and nicer badges (e.g. Rim Protector silver, Putback silver, Hustle Rebounder bronze, brick wall bronze)

can you give me some tips or pro/cons to help me decide between SG/SF please?

and please give me some suggestions for height and weight

Any tips for playing against teams with five pure sharps point through center or five guys with at least some variation of sharpshooter attached?

Have run into this a few times and it’s just extremely difficult when a team zig-zags up top around illegal screens and spreads the floor all game.

Just wondering if anyone has run into this very much and what has your team done to slow it down?
