NBA Live 2004 had a really neat draft class generator. They didn't generate until the offseason started so there wasn't any scouting but the draft classes were very accurate to real life draft classes. The classes had different rankings; very weak, weak, average, strong, and very strong. Very weak would have top guys in the higher 60s or very low 70s. Very strong would have top guys in the higher 70s to mid 80s. The accuracy was very good in that game when relating to draft classes. Just thought it was worth mentioning. I've been heavy into NBA dynasty building games since the early 2000s and that game still has my favorite draft classes.

You can tinker with draft quality to get closer to your expectations. I'm currently testing at 45 and like it a lot. Sample size too small at moment, but definitely improvement over default imo

I think I may just control all teams and create my own draft classes this year once I get started

Two issues I have come across that I don't see listed.

1) in year 4 all the top centers in the upcoming draft class were ranked as bottom tier players. Upon free agency they were all there with high ratings and undrafted bc everyone's draft percentage was 0% on them. some top 5/10 talent.

2) in single draft I picked two euros to stash in first round. One had 1 year other 2 years of stash time. Upon picking up contract of first guy (1 year later) I was told I couldn't continue to retain rights of other fellow. Too many players overseas. Odd that I was able to hold two, but now cannot hold any.

This was a new start, test after patch FYI

Great, thank you. If there's a cap on overseas players it would be a nice feature to display on future editions.

The crash and #2 have already been fixed for patch 3 (well, the upcoming patch 4 or 1.04 for you guys, I think). Still investigating #1.

Btw, what menu are you seeing this issue on (with the centers)?

Thanks Davez for investigating these bugs. I'm just hoping that you guys can get the automatic renounce bird rights issued resolved within the next patch (I feel that just having renouncing not work is better than having it automatically renounce for every team).

Thanks Davez for investigating these bugs. I'm just hoping that you guys can get the automatic renounce bird rights issued resolved within the next patch (I feel that just having renouncing not work is better than having it automatically renounce for every team).

davez, just curious:
is it possible for you guys to balance Draft Classes and Contracts via Roster/Tuning Updates or only within a Patch??

I just simmed a season in MyLeague and saw too many decent players sign for the minimum and that is because the Teams don´t have enough Capspace after signing too many 80+ rated players for Max Contracts.

Also saw another Superstar Rookie, 93 Overall Two-Way-Superstar with 18 Badges.

and I have to agree with the other guys here, you do a great job with MyLeague and your community work is second to none.
Some of us might be a bit harsh sometimes, but we all appreciate your hard work and dedication to give us the best Franchise Mode in Gaming - and make no mistake about it, NBA 2K´s MyLeague is the Gold Standard.

I can only backup to mid point of season so not sure whether issue occurred during course of season or when draft class was generated. When I filter prospect menu by centers, all centers are DE (and other groups as well) as the bottom X number of players (backing up from 150 or however many guys are in a class). I, at first, thought there just weren't any good centers. Upon getting to free agent period there were two top flight guys that went undrafted. Went back to mid season save and they are in class but no one picked them bc not even computer will scout that deep into pool. I took control of several teams that all had entire center field scouted at 0%. I can get a screen shot if it would be helpful...

Are you able to see attachment. All centers are ranked at the very bottom of list. Some are really high quality as I found out once they posted to free agent pool.

It depends on the root cause of the issue. Some can be fixed in the roster updates if it's just a template, but others are in code and must be a part of a patch.
