Time for a drastic move I guess.. dropping from Hall of Fame to Superstar for a game before work Thursday.. never not played HOF difficulty.. just sick of teammates not doing ANYTHING

You should definitely leave in free agency man (if this is your first season).

So.. does changing difficulty from HOF to Superstar REALLY kill that much team chemistry.. went from 92% to 70% overnight.. of course with the team broken chemistry shouldn't have been that high anyway but it was

Changing to Superstar from HOF didn't make a huge difference so far.. first half against the Bucks I'm 6 of 9 shooting.. the rest of the team is 10 for 33.. and the Bucks.. are raining 3's

Trailing by 15 after 3 quarters vs. Milwaukee.. the team is still shooting 33% besides my 9 of 15 that's... 19/56 .. the only thing that changed switching to Superstar from HOF? The TEAM is making turnovers like crazy.. Butler's 1-7 shooting Crawford 0-4 Wiggins 1 of 6, Gibson 2 of 7 Shabazz 2 of 6.. Bucks on the other hand.,. already have 5 guys in double figures

The 4th quarter.. what a joke.. my icon passing became a turnover.. MY last 5 (of 6) touches were turnovers as I kept trying to finish the triple double with the poorest shooting team I've ever seen.. so I ended up with 10 turnovers in a damn game.. to go with my triple double.. Wiggins, Dieng.. would fumble passes to them.. Wiggins ran out of bounds when I tried to pass to him.. you name it..

Lost by 22.. .. final team shooting % 42.. and without MY shooting % it's 35% .. AGAIN They're all BROKEN.. Gibson, Wiggins, Muhammad, Lawson, Butler, Crawford, a combined 11 for 42 .. if I add Dieng it's 16 for 53

I'm missing the days when you could get off a broken team your ROOKIE season.. I'd just sim through the end of this but I'm not to the All-Star game yet, and I've been TRYING to pass Westbrook for 5th in guard voting but I keep staying 12k votes down

Is there any way you could provide some clips of how you play, both offensively and defensively? And do you run plays or just freelance everything and dominate the ball?

I say the former because 2K this year seems to be really funny about certain situations where you might be able to gain a stat. What I mean by that is, if an opponent takes a shot and you run to the rim to get the rebound, it goes in. Stand completely still and it’ll go off. This is probably just a placebo but I definitely don’t play active help defense because I feel that only helps the AI. On the offensive end, I won’t move after a team mate hits a shot for the same reason.

This forum needs more of this in general, it would help to see non-MyPark players on here to compare with. Even a player like Chris Smoove is extremely arcadey compared to what I experience.

I've always felt like this about 2K in mycareer. Going for the defensive rebound raises the cpu shooting percentages. They tend to miss more if you don't go for it.

I play with the T’Wolves and do serious damage on HoF. However, I’m a 90 so I have influenced free agency and can set lineups. Offensively I run a 5 out play style. I run a lot of PnRs in that set for myself and teammates. Defensively is the key though. I run a half court trap defense. This defense causes a lot of turnovers and fast break points. A half court trap requires a bit more attention though because you have to pay attention to the man your teammate will leave open when going to trap. When I identify the opponent left open, I will cover the area between that opponent and the guy I’m guarding like a zone. I tend to sit out 4th quarters playing offense and defense this way.

i play in the knicks and we are 60-20; i am 90 so i put all the money plays that sham pham put in his channel( around 36 money plays) and i put in the settings the auto playcall so every time we got possession it runs a different plays that dont destroy the offense. i call 5-6 pnr a game( when the offense stuck in nothing) because with this plays that you design you dont need to abuse and do iso every time , this ruins the fun and realistic of a offline play.

Also i put the PACE motion cut wich has THE BEST ISO MIDDLE/WING prn space and movement

I just played the 3 point competition and the framerate is so laggy that my jumpsuit release was totally different (like in the pregame shootaround) and I only ended up getting 8. That's bull**** man.

Anyone else experience this?

The problem I have is that in MC mode the teams and star players doesnt play like they should

For example Im playing the Rockets, Harden is their best player by far but they play too much often with Harden off the ball and Ariza as a creator

Which you will never see IRL (they dont have CP3 anymore)

And James hardly play a lot of PnRoll like he abuses IRL

christ almighty the GM logic in this game is stupid.

So in my first year with the lakers we traded away jordan clarkson to portland for some randos. problem is he was one of the our backup PGs and a reliable scoring option off the bench. So once he was available in FA 2 years later, i had our front office sign him again ONLY TO BE TRADED AGAIN MIDWAY THROUGH THIS SEASON. wtf game. we're 47-0 and you think "let's trade some valuable pieces". so damn annoying. also idk if this game mode takes into affect cap space because my team has resigned just about everyone and is $90 million over the cap lmao
