In 2k19 they pretty much knocked off half of my Top 10 wants. I'm not 100% sure about all of them yet but it looks like I can check off #1-4 & 10.

..and the crazy thing is is that they do this pretty much every year. I mean, I'm really going to have to think outside of the box this year to come up with 10 things. I'll certainly try though.

Kudos to Erick, Davez, Leftos and company you guys really are the real MVP's.

you are right about that. i have found that with some tweaking of sliders i've had games that are more interesting than real life NBA.

Yup, I'd be right there with you. These guys out-do themselves year in and year out but I might try to swing into the Wishlist this year and throw out some presentation requests. I'd actually dig more attention, displays, and graphics acknowledging records being set or surpassed and other things of that ilk (say, season-highs being set). It'd be cool to see a cut to, say, Andre Drummond shortly after he becomes the Pistons' all-time leader in rebounds, or something like that, with an overlay mentioning the news and who he surpassed in the process.

But that's another topic for another day. Today's MyLeague news was by and large incredible. I'm hoping I understood the Create-a-Player DNA thing right (the ability for other to upload those DNA's for other users to download). It'd be so nice to have that back.

Thes draft classes will be editable so that you’re able to fill in the gaps for players 2K doesn’t have a license to use. I still don’t know if the players from the draft classes will be accessible in any other aspect of the game for roster building. You will, however, be able to edit the legends, but not their ages.

This is probably the only thing that I’m worried about. We can’t edit legends age again. I hope that’s only for the legend draft classes.

All the other things are just amazing. 2K get better year after year

after reading this, my level of excitement is off the charts for the game.

Execution is always key but the idea of all this is so amazing.

being able to fine tune regression/progression is amazing. I've long complained about older players losing IQ when they should be only losing athleticism type attributes. And younger players shouldn't be gaining vertical at 21. That's peaked 999/1000 times IRL.

All this stuff sound so amazing.

If this all works, or at least 80%, then well done to 2k. I've been hard on the game for 3 years now, but this all sounds spectacular and kudos to them for listening to franchise fans and not just the folks paying for micro transactions.

NICE!!! Good way to quiet the week of Madden down. It amazes me every year the amount of customization 2K can put in their games but Madden can't add a single one.

U ever think that just maybe the NFL is much stricter when it comes to making of a game then the NBA?

couldnt agree more

2k takes features that are already great and somehow makes them even better every year yet Madden can't fix their broken modes year in and year out. as a fan of both games its always bittersweet reading the nba 2k blogs - im always so thrilled by the new additions, a bunch of community requests get answered, and they even add in things I didnt even know I wanted, but at the same time find myself getting frustrated while reading about them because I wish Madden would get the same treatment.

Totally agree. All these customizations are fantastic but I always had trouble with immersion. I want the announcers to call out the league leader in scoring, talk about who won the championship, new free agent signing, next game, winning streaks ect

Just make it feel more immersive. Add something other than "the golden state warriors have won the nba championship" cut scenes, parade idk. Myleague is great but it can improve on presentation a lot.

2 more things. More stat overlays. Way more. Also add a super fast option for simcast live. Simcast live is great but slow. It also shows replays without playing unlike regular simcast.

I also pray this is the year that we are finally rid of the forced nicknames when using CAP. At least the option to select "none", especially if the player's last name is present in the given database. If not...then its back to the torches and pitchforks fellas

I am a huge huge huge MyLeague Online player. I used to play in online leagues in NBA 2k12 and NBA 2K13. The leagues were very barebones and they would constantly crash and glitch. The huge post about all the changes to online leagues for 2K19 makes me extremely happy. It took 6+ years, but it's finally here. Hopefully it's worth the long wait!
