Lol, For me personally, the reason I care about authenticity so much is because I pretty much only play MyLeague, so I want everything to be as realistic/accurate as possible. I understand why others who play PNO, park, etc. wouldn't really care and think the art people are crazy bringing these things up.

Re: NBA 2K19 Screenshots and Player Ratings
Yeah, every arm sleeve and I'm pretty sure all other accessories have the Nike logo. At the least, they could add the NBA logo, but considering all the other issues you mentioned, adding a logo to sleeves seems really simple compared to them. But I have no idea, I thought adding goggles and face masks seemed simple, but I was wrong. This is my last time talking about art in here before I get in trouble again lolComment

Re: NBA 2K19 Screenshots and Player Ratings
Now correct me if I'm wrong but didn't 2K have the Nike Elite socks last year? A little weird they wouldn't scan and brand the rest of the accessories. Maybe it's because the sleeves are generic looking to begin with. Theyre just simple one color designs, unlike the socks that have different patterns and designs.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 Screenshots and Player Ratings
For example, people talk about players likeness. I remember when we didn't even have player names in sports games, just numbers! That's why it's hard for me to be overly critical. There is certainly room for improvement from 2K but, at the end of the day, these little issues and inaccuracies aren't going to make or break the game for me. We are basically at a point where we are striving for perfection.Comment

Based on a two year weighted average, Tyus and O'Neale are below the trend line.

Re: NBA 2K19 Screenshots and Player Ratings
2K should not be posting Overall ratings for non-stars because they flat out don't pay any attention to them. Beyond the OVR, surgery is required to make this guy a FUNCTIONAL player.

Playmaking: B- (from C+)
Perimeter Defense: B- (from C)
Post Defense: C
Rebounding: C+

Basketball IQ: B- (from B)
STRENGTHS
Very good rebounder for his size/position. A much better defender than 2K gives him credit for - they have proven incapable of implementing a system or evaluating this end of the floor.
WEAKNESSES
At age 25, O'Neale is a bit of a finished product. He isn't an efficient scorer with the ball in his hands, and only an average shooter. The NBA is in love with the P.J. Tucker type at the moment, so O'Neale should be able to carve out a career as a backup.

Re: NBA 2K19 Screenshots and Player Ratings
Won't post Spellman's attributes until 2K19 comes out but I have him at 72/PF (Faceup Four)
I sincerely hope the ratings team read my posts and get angry. We all have a reason to be angry too. These players are bonafide jokes once you rip the Intangibles bandaids off.

85 Potential (+6)
GRADES

STRENGTHS
Great rebounder. Not overly bulky but absorbs contact well. Solid post moves. Good passer. Probably the Hornets long-term starter unless they want his scoring off the bench.
WEAKNESSES
Not a great shot blocker or interior defender (an he start with those inadequacies?). Needs the ball to make in impact offensively, which has hindered the careers of similar players like Greg Monroe (though Willy's shooting stroke should go a long-way towards changing that).

Hernangomez's 3pt stroke is legit.
