The hair, body type look good and 2K is notorious for making subpar CAP's for missing players.

The community always out does them when it comes to this aspect, TBH.

They likely didn't scan him either because of scheduling or he wasn't priority a (unfortunately).

Where are the ones that matter? How did Oladipo progress? Where do they think Turner will end up? How about a few superstars.

The player has to ask for their rating/render on Twitter. If they don't ask, we don't get an image.

And it seems to be losing appeal with the players. By this time last year and the year prior there was a ton more guys requesting....

They could give us WWE 2k's creation system and 2ks non scanned players would still look exactly the same.
I don't think the CAP system will be severely lacking this year, I think, as usual, it will be the give a **** factor on the roster team's part.

Even then, that person would still need the backing to get it cleared through the numerous bureaucrats within the company who would favor a status quo. (Why take the Ri$k?)

I hate to break it to you man, but your ratings are no better and no worse than what 2k puts out there every year. It's just a different interpretation and a different ratings system. More than likely, you re-rating everyone in this thread is just confusing a majority of people.

I remember back in 2k16 when Taurean Princes screenshot had his back to the camera, and eventually in game his scan was really good. Vanderbilt’s scan is probably good too, because his fade looks really good, unlike 2ks cap hairstyles.

Except it's not. I use the same rating scales as 2K, with minimal deviation (and this has been my method for 15 years).

It seems like all there is really no diversity with overall ratings.

The entire scale (25 - 99) isn't utilized, too many players are bunched in the 70's and the don't want to "hurt" players' feelings.

It would be nice to see more guys in the 60's and even 50's, but it seems they are nearly all in the 70's.

Also, they didn't update Bobby's hair. Seems they've left a majority of the league alone minus LeBron (!), Steph (!), rookies and unscanned players from last season....

I understand not touching up everyone, but 5 or 6 players from each team would be nice....

I think the overall rating numbers are inflated a lot of the time, but I think the play styles and production simulations have been really good for most players.

I think the ratings are tied into NBAPA in a weird sort of way, I remember last generation I want to say 2K12 or 2K13, they had a rating scale that dipped into the 40-50's and I think they were told to stop doing that.
