The first thing I did after 85ing him and getting my animations was go straight to the Rec. Now, remember I have no badges at this point and its not like I was just shutting everyone down, either. But my 69 lateral quickness, 69 block, and 74 steal instantly stood out to me. I have characters with higher ratings in these categories, but they're not 6'10. I won my first game with randoms with a line like: 6 points on 3/5 shooting, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block. Not the best numbers, but we got it done. My match up was a 2-way slasher who tried to just bully me to the lane, but he was 6'6. So when he got good position, I was still there to contest. Even with no badges, he would run into me with my hands up and just throw layups at the rim 6 feet out. I can only imagine this guy with badges.

Played some park games with randoms. I think I played about 10 all together. Won 7 of them or so.

Basically, my first couple games was me and 2 sharps. I would get the offensive rebound and kick out as I was able to get Hustle Rebounder pretty quick last night. I didn't have Dimer yet so they would brick wide open a lot.

I ended up losing after 3 with that team because an athletic tore me up at the 3.

I went to a new park and played some Stretch 4s later on.

They bricked everything if not wide. If i was close, they we 're missing. Even without badges. No shooting OVER this guy at all.

All in all, realy fun build.
I had a Rebounding Playmaker in 18 - he was built like Jason Kidd.

Its tough to commit to. A Rebound Athletic would be ideal but I just want to experience something out of the norm that still looks intriguing [emoji848][emoji51]

HOF break starter wasn't worth putting rebounding in. His shooting was worse (my 2way maxes at 70, it's a 66 three rn at 86 OVR) his finishing was similar, but the kicker was the defense. Damn near 80 in all defensive ratings, he gets hustle rebounder bronze instead of silver. It's like 78 rebounding VS a 74.

All in all, similar builds. But I'm telling you, I was a force on defense from jump. Once he's badged out and I get a few more cap breakers this guy will be a beast.

Meanwhile, my post scoring stretch just seems boring. Lol like, I'll run with him when my squad wants to play as we always need shooting. But it's not like I'm truly interested in grinding him up.

This guy can affect the game in so many ways. I can rebound, defend, and kinda score. Lol

If you want a Point Forward that can defend a 6'10 Max Wingspan Pure Point Forward is probably your best, the difference in defense is marginal, you're way faster with the ball and the shooting is somewhat better. Plus you get the playmaking HOF badges.

Pure point forward is the only point forward archetype worth making IMO.

You'll automatically be good at defense and rebounding due to your height, length, and vertical.

There's no good reason to further diminish your already mediocre offensive stats for extra defense or rebounding.

What weight did you put on that? I'm leaning towards doing that for my rebirth.

Minimum, 90 Speed with Ball is ridiculous.

I played with a pure playmaker who had HOF Dimer, which turned my rebounding rim protector into Dirk

Looking forward to spreading that wealth to others

Yeah, I have a pure playmaker6'6 if I really want to dribble. I made this guy to primarily play off ball.

So i ran sone games last night with the squad. I was running point on my point forward. The line up the first game was:

                      Pure sharp 6'8
                      2way point forward(me) 6'10
                      Playmaking slasher 6'8
                      LDD 6'10
                      GC 7'

Slasher ended up with 40 almost all on the break. I ended with 14 assists and 6 steals.

Second game sharp decided to get on his pure slasher. I had 9 TOs because of spacing but we won by 20 even tho they were close till the 4th. I finished with 12 assists.

Third game we blew them out by 40. Both slashers had 30+. I finished with 16 assists and 3 TOs.

All in all, he's not BETTER than my pure playmaker on offense, but he's infinitely better on defense.

I don't think my match ups had 15 on me in 3 games. I guarded a coulple pure sharps but neither shot 50% or better from deep. Even when i was late to close out, with silver defensive stopper and my length, my close outs were very effective.

If they don't nerf shot contests again, this guy will be a beast.

I got to 94 and double takeover yesterday....and lmao this rebound takeover is absurd cheese. The fact that you can know where the ball will land when the shot goes up is flat out stupid. But I'll take it!

                          yup

not to mention how easy it is to build up your takeover by grabbing rebounds lol

im wondering if its worth to make a post scoring shot creating PF.

or anything else with post scoring.

need a break from my 2 way athletic finisher C.

dont think i want to roll with my playmaking/shot creator PG with randoms lol

unfortunately, it looks like I still have to make defensive plays to get my takeover meter up since that's my primary. Rebounding cheese only activates after I get my takeover

getting to 94 got me +2 in my rebound attributes and maybe the dudes I played were terrible but my dude was getting more of the EZ Button animations

I made a shot creating post scorer and I regret it because I've found I barely use it and didn't really like it, my rebounding rim protector just makes more of an impact as a big man

I just don't like using post archetypes unless I know damn sure the people I play with know how to play with one, but even then I was so burned out by grinding that I had no appetite to pursue badges
