I think people overlook how valuable lockdowns are on Pro-Am/Rec. A lot of elite Pro-Am teams have multiple lockdowns now and put them on the opposing team's primary ball handler to completely take the other team's pg out the game to the point where they don't even want to dribble the ball anymore lol.
multiple lockdowns are incredible. when you drop ratings and neutralize badges all over the floor, it really makes a lot of team's bread and butter stuff really ineffective, frustrates them, you get tons of easy buckets

you do have to have players who are really efficient scorers surrounding them though or else it can be strugglebus both ways

Trying to think through my next build, starting to get kind of weary of being ignored as a Shot Creating Post Scorer at the 4. Considering a Playmaking Athletic Finisher at PF, kind of in homage to Shawn Kemp. I wish I could replicate more of his game, like his post ability, but 2k limits that with the two arch system.

Anything other than a stretch at the 4 will be ignored.

Not true. I'm a shot creating PF and I've finally started doing pretty well with him online. Just alot of screens, cuts, and corner 3s. Been averaging about 15ppg my last 5 rec games

Just depends on who you play with, I've played with good randoms and I've played with randoms that are blinder than Hellen Keller and Louis Braille combined.

Same. As a Post Scorer primary I find I get ignored more often than not because I am often not seen as being "open" when I am posted up. I figure that should change a little bit when my primary objective is running to the rim.

It’s not tons better as a rim runner - people will still miss you on cuts all the time. But at least they’re getting an assist if you score so I feel like you have a slightly better chance at getting the ball. People will mostly only use players in the post if they legitimately feel like they need to in order to win. Which basically means that none of the other scoring options are working.

As a rim-runner I sometimes get some action if I have lousy shooters on my team or the other team has really good perimeter defense. Otherwise they just chuck all day and hopefully I can get an offensive rebound or something.

Probably 6'8 SG, the Silver Corner Specialist is nice.

Played with two pure athletic finishers that triggers contact dunk animations all game lol.

Either they tuned this or you need hof badges to dunk like they did,

Lol I played against a team in rec that had one, and their gameplan was solely just to give him the ball under the rim and let him dunk on everyone

Safe to say, after the first quarter they barely scored and got blown out

Could try a Pure Rim Protector, Primary badges are Rim Protector, Defensive Stopper, Brick Wall, Bruiser and Chasedown Artist. If you go 7'0 212lbs you get 85 lateral quickness and you really get off the ground on blocks like these
