Weird how you always get match up to all time. I pretty much never get matched up.

Because of all the lag I went down from college 2 levels so I'm just sticking to playing with my fav team in tier 1 and not bothering to level up.

Why should I bother trying to play better people with all this lag...may aswell enjoy using my team against crap opponents and I have a chance to win. Shoot 3s with Looney and Mcgee that's the quality I play against now and can barely win sometimes.

I’m in HOF league with 3 wins to go until GOAT. Being in HOF is the reason for the onslaught of classic teams because A) there all unlocked at that point and B) everyone just uses those teams at that level.

Well. I’ve gone to the dark side boys.

Current Raptors tier 1 games and drum roll please.......all time bucks for tier 2 and alltime pelicans for tier 3.

I blame other users for this catastrophe. All I would do
Is dashboard repeatedly over and over again because ever opponent was an alltime team, then I’d get tired of dashboarding because “I just wanted to play” and would lose and take on unnecessary losses.

Now that I’ve joined the herd of mindless sheep I’ve gone undefeated in tier 2/3 games......this game is so easy using these teams it’s almost effortless.

Either way, hope the 2k gods are happy now, I’ve been driven to a dark place.

I really wouldn't call that "going to the dark side". You're just using what you earned by leveling up. If I unlock the All-Time Pacers, I have every intentions of using them. I'm still low enough that it's very, very rare that I'm matched up against an All-Time team.

How do you guys cope with this? The constant steal spamming(especially off defensive rebounds/trying to get the ball to your guards). The constant pnr spam. The constant baseline cheese. The random fast break off INBOUND PASSES!!!!! Does anyone online run plays or try to emulate any semblance of a sim basketball game. I’m so sick of 2K catering to casual scrubs

I think he means dudes that just use All Time for the sole purpose of winning not because they are fans of the team....basically cheats...there's seems to be to many of them online.

Against teams who bring 90+ rated dudes on the bench then there's prob no point playing them with a regular team.

Had a fairly smooth game today after not playing for a few days.

1st game in this dude has 61% win pct compared to my 49% so I'm thinking he must be decent...he pauses the game changes the settings and continues to just push hard to the basket with Simmons,Butler, or Embid when I'm guarding him. He was playing spot the human defender the whole time. He hit 2 3s with Simmons after never subbing out the first qrt, everything went his way. I thought F it and just off balled and whadda you know he couldn't score....

Without the lag I could score...he quit in the 3rd as he couldn'tt score against off ball lol

So many of these dudes out there...seriously no skill and yet there he is competing....until half time at least lol

Honestly, after playing the "other game" the steal spamming is MUCH more tamed on NBA 2K19, lol. Against steal spammers, you just have to be careful with your passes. I would highly recommend using icon passing. It seems it's much better this year than previous years where I felt that AI defenders were responding to the actual button press instead of the action on the court. Also, utilize the protect stance often. It's doesn't guarantee that the ball won't get stolen, but it increases the chances that you'll get a foul. The one tactic that I KEEP falling for is when my center is running down the middle of paint "unguarded" and time and time and time again, I'll throw the pass like an idiot, lol. It's really a bait, because the PF or SF will one-hand grab that pass out of the air 90% of time.

When I play against PnR spammers, I just go exclusively to off-ball defense. I refuse to deal with that nonsense anymore. Why I should be "noble" about playing on-the-ball defense when CLEARLY my opponent is trying to use an exploit to get an advantage? I change my defensive settings to On Ball - Tight, Off Ball - Moderate, Go Over, and Catch All. The AI defender does a much better job of going over screens than I can.

I'm not sure what you mean about baseline cheese. That's seems to be a 50/50 play to me depending on the team being used. Fastbreaks off the inbound pass is more or less poor AI programming where the your AI teammates don't get back on defense as fast as they should. That's really a legacy issue. The best thing that you can do is icon switch and hope to break it up before they score.

Bums will be bums. There's always those group of people who will pick the best team available to win regardless of their fandom, if they have any.

I'll never understand how people can't win against off-ball defenders. I've mentioned this before, but an off-ball defender actually becomes the weakest link IF you run freelances and plays. I play MyCareer, and it's a pain in the butt chasing the AI through screens. Also, those players tend to fall asleep on defense, because they're expecting their assignment to just sit in the corner or stay near the wing. Do you know how many easy buckets I get from manually making my teammmate backdoor cut to the basket?

Seems like when they fix it for some it breaks for others!

Invest in fixing the online gameplay instead of fixing shoe, tatoo, and hair styles! FFS

They better focus on the core of the product otherwise they will be going tits up.

Won 10 in a row again on GOAT all for sure post-patch this time. Still didn't get the 2k or PS4 trophy. Maybe the issue was only fixed on Xbox.

Only thing in your case is maybe you did win the trophy/achievement but you won it pre-patch. Now post patch the game doesn’t understand/recognize that you won the trophy.

So now when your doing it, you’ve “already won it” and nothing happens....get what I’m saying?

Got a new router, but same old results. Great download and upload speeds on every test, but soon as I play this game a PNO game it goes from decent to laggy as hell.

I'm going to request Microsoft take a look a look at my xbox one x. When I get it back and it's still lagging, I'm going to stop playing or see how it performs on my PS4 Pro.
