Is anyone seeing where the announcers keep taking about you being in the running for the slam dunk contest and all star game multiple times after the All Star weekend has already passed?

I also dislike the player of the game being given out too soon I feel I would have won it many times if it had been at the end of the game.

Playing MyCareer on HOF is hot garbage...

Get blown out by 20 almost every game. CPU is psychic & unreal on offense & defense. Your teammates just act like they are brain dead sometimes. I play with the Raptors and thank God we have Kawhi

I've been a 60 my whole time with the Raptors & these cats pass me the ball like I'm the Superstar. I'm a rookie that's not even a 70, why pass me the ball with the clock running down & we need a basket.

I've even had a possession where my teammates didn't even get a shot up. Kawhi was posted up, faced up & pump faked the ball like 3 times b4 the shot clock eventually ran out. I'm not asking to win every game and dominate, I realize I'm a 68 & can't take over games like last year but can my teammates at least play up to their talent. Last year playing MyCareer on HOF was not near as frustrating.

I even have a replay where Greg Monroe gets fouled with like 2 seconds left. He missed both, the Lakers get the rebound & Lance drains a shot from behind half court. Not saying this couldn't happen but it just further confirms some of our complaints

I'm enjoying the game for now, my shot creating playmaker PG is an awesome build, playing on the Lakers with LBJ is fun.

But my gripe is I was looking forward to 2K19 being a totally new game, everything being freshened up.

I was pretty disappointed to get to the neighborhood and nba only to notice just about everything is a copy & paste job..
Same boring apartment, same practise & training facility, same stores, same walk into the locker room, same pregame/halftime crap.. ah same this same that 🙄

Surely they could of freshened everything up..

The neighborhood is somewhat better than last yr but not much..

Seriously what did 2K spend the whole yr doing ??? Did they spend all there cash on the actors & actresses for a 6 hr ish prelude..

When the CPU player shoots a 3, and I have an easy boxout in the paint and I'm in perfect position for a rebound, it doesn't matter how much the shot is contested. It goes in. Every. Single. Time.

This I have noticed, every time I'm in good position, swish.

The CPU does seem scripted just look at the game vs the allstars.
Up by 8 with a min left, you are subbed out and at halftime you're down by 10.

Game Mode isn't very forgiving with mistakes. I feel like you have to work extra harder to get a good grade. But easier to bring it down.

The CPU thinks they are slick. They know how to use screens without using screens. You're chasing your guy and then a slight bump running in to your teammate your guy is open

Yep. Happens here as well.

I’ve been saying this since last year. It’s kind of silly to issue the POG with 3-5 minutes left unless it’s a blowout. Also sometimes you miss it if there isn’t a timeout. Just wish they’d have it and the end of the game like they used to.

To the topic itself: Yes mycareer is extremely scripted.

f.e. my last game against 76ers: met B.Simmons before the game in a cutscene.
he was surprised who i am! Wtf i am the all star team captain with over 5 million votes...who are u???
and of course in this game, simmons didnt miss a shot. he had a midrange and 3s all over the place.
C mon this dude has no jumper in real life....


after talking to Kareem or Shaq in their cutscenes, my player always perform a lil bit better, he s quicker and better in shooting....
but maybe its a placebo effect idk

I thought the whole script was bull****, but after playing against the magic that's no longer the case, Vuvevic outrebounded whiteside on offensive rebounds, scored every post move, grabbed every rebound


I was guarded by Gordon, I'm an athletic finisher and usually smoke the CPU (even ppl like anthony davis or porzingis) on cuts, with offball screens, backdoor cuts, and sneaky alley-oops, Gordon was just grabbing me all the game and I couldn't even made one cut, meanwhile my team played like ******s, turnovers where my team just suddenly drops the ball, bad passes, Wade cold for the whole game...


I still managed to get points, had a very good stat line, and managed to get 86-84, last 14 seconds, they shoot 1 3pt, brick, they get the rebound, shoot another, they get the rebound, shoot another, get the rebound and finally the last one, and this is with me boxing out gordon and having ****ING WHITESIDE trying to get the rebound, so, 87-86, with 0.2 seconds, luckily im not the inbounder, so the only thing we can do is a quick alley oop, I cut, I spam YYYYY and they pass the ball to Dragic near the half court line so we can lose the game


it's infuriating, this game was harder than playing Lebron, Anthony Davis, the beard, and Golden state, I guess I was winning so much by abusing the CPU that the game decided to stop me
